Feon, my previous 2 GPs that i mentioned b4 also die because of diarrhea. Both of them die lying there with their btm part of their body wet. The possiblity of diarrhea of my GP is due to the BENGY pallet i gave them. So u might wan to more aware on what food u gave them. Look for more advice from our forumers here. Might get some tips here.

And i noticed that once we bought the GP back home from the pet shop, when should not immediately change their diet, for let say they use to eat rabbit pallet when they live in the pet shop. After we brought them home, we should not give them everything nice that fast. I think we should give them like 10/90, 20/80, 30/70, & so on portion respectively for rabbit pallets & guinea pig pallets. That's what i think lar. If we gave him a right food than why must when they reach home they die. Sure must be something about the food. For lets say we eat Rice from baby until 20 years old right? What if we just suddenly change to pulut 1 day? Have anyone of you got what i mean? If wrong please tell me.

I got 3 piggies now and currently their cage now is only 2feet width only. I feel their cage is too small thats y i tot i cud use the Chicken Cage (no use already) for their new home.

We all not sifu here.. just avid pet lovers.. laugh.gif If its wood and dawai.. i think wont be practical de. Dawai is kinda thin and will hurt their feet. Unless you put like placemats under on top of it to avoid them from getting bumble feet.

Wood they will have the urge to chew.. what happens if one day you find your GPs missing sweat.gif coz they chew their way out? XD You can try consider getting the pet shop cages like me and chubby have. Actually there is so many lah.. Just one time invest.

The width should be minimal 3-4 ft for 2 piggies. No less... coz the only form of exercise is to run and  move around, jump here and there.. so thats why need wide space. Unless you give floor time often, then its ok to have a medium sized cage.

i am willing to go to pet shop to buy if they have the cages for piggies. but the problem is they don't have sell the suitable cage for them. Even if there is a big cage, i think those cage are more suitable for Dog than Guinea pigs. so the only solution is to make a DIY cages for my babies.

BTw, can you guys show me a pitures of a size of ur home for your piggies? can simply take a pic where the cage u locate ur piggies cage too can?

Chanmy, Put up some pic la...are they very big piggies?3 ar...it is difficult for u to find a suitable cage...well, you can use coroplast DIY cage lo...actually after some calculation hor...it much more cheaper lo than but a commercial cage.and it is flexible too...as you can design the cage as you like....biggrin.gif

Not so big. 2 of them is 3-4 months n 1 is 7 months only. I am willing to make a DIY Cage for them. Can you guide me on making one? What should i use for their base? Even their hideing place i DIY for now cuz here don't have sell those kind of stuffs.

She died because of diarrhea (I think so) due to the food they eat might not suitable for her. Both of my GP before also died like that. So each time i go visit them, i will check their poo color and size. If got diarrhea, their poo is like liquid liquid. If u too slow discover that, they might end up dying. The Symtoms of my GP that time is their hair below their mouth will get wet(A healthy GP will not get wet). so, must be very careful about their Food

Omg, Your First GP Look exactly the same like my GP. White color fur and got abit black on the ear. And the others are so cute too >< Really hope to get 1.

Yesterday when i flooring my 3 GPs i just notices one of my GP is a MALE. B4 this i tot he was a female because the Pet store owner says he is a FEMALE. Than yesterday i notice he got "Balls" and very Big one! I was like OMG! Now i got 2 Male and 1 Female. I was thinking no wonder the other Male not attracted to that "Male"

Good news to all and myself, Jingle was delivered 2 healthy babies yes'd mid night after 2am. I know it is aft 2am is because my last observe on her is ard that time before i go to bed and she is still walking ard in the cage.

This morning when i wake up at 10am, the 1st thing i do when u wake up is checking both Jingle and Jasper. I saw Jasper was standing in front of Jingle's hidding dome (both of them have their own hidding dome in the cage)and keep on looking into Jingle's dome. I was a bit scared when i saw this because i was wonder what happen with Jingle inside? She having problem during her delivered or anything worse happen(touch wood)? because she used to be the 1st one that running to me i go to see and check on them but how come she is not coming out at all?

I slowly take off her dome and found that there are 2 babies wt her in her dome drool.gif  rclxms.gif  wub.gif . I have separate Jasper from them now and putting Jasper in the wired cage. I have add a lots of Alfalfal hay into Jingle's tray also. Lucky i have clean the cage yes'd morning or else it is worse because at least start from today i cannot clean the cage until 10 days later right?

Neither then the water, alfalfa hay and Vit.C, pallet, timothy hay, vegs and fruits, pls do advice me what should i add on more to Jingle and the babies diet so that they will stay healthly? Choco is super active and she/he even go and eat hay himself/herself whereby snowy is more stick to the mother. I will go and buy another water bottle so that i can hang more lower and both Choco and Snowy can have the water.

They are so cute and both of them and Jingle&Jasper will stay healthy ever forever.

Here are some photos of them
I have temporary name both of the babies, choco and snowy, but will discuss wt my hubby when he came back tonight.
Omg, they are sooooooooooooo CUTTEEE!!!! May i know how old is the mother?

U can follow sugar way to determine. Sometimes if the GP are too smal very hard to see >< even i messed up too sometimes. If u wanna be sure u can watch after 2-3 weeks later. If it's a male u can see his "balls" hehe. It's very Obvious wan haha.
