Added on January 22, 2009, 11:53 pmi voiced out that i hate milo's wet & smelly muzzle and his almost botak foot after non-stop biting/licking. Val recommended clean face & feet lo.

But i still prefer his old look...cuter!!

i'm very frustrated with him nowadays...he licks every darn thing..from floor to our feet. Dunno if he is trying to get our attention or not but he is definitely getting a lot of scoldings n punishments from us....ARGHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Chris, you are right...ATTENTION!

Cooper every now and then will lick his paws. The vet said that when dogs lick their own paws, they are bored. But this habit is not good as it will lead to yeast infection and makes their paws turn into dark red/maroon colour. Pets Icon, Val is right the only way is to make their feet and muzzle BOTAK. I have yet to BOTAK Cooper's mouth. I think after CNY, will shave the both part. Let him turn into a real poodle. kakakaka

I went to new branch coz more nicer and bigger but groomer quite young. Old branch groomer very experience. U looking white poodle?

Added on January 23, 2009, 12:50 pmThey advice don't shave all fur become botak, of course new fur grow is look thicker but texture very very rough and some new fur is damaged to different direction some to right , left ,up and down .... looked very rough. If want become thicker and curly after 4 months old just regular trimming the result is same ,even fur looked more tidy coz all grow to same direction. I experienced before. Rui Rui coat now is a lots , thicker , curly but texture not nice compare with Collie and Cherrie both new coat also thicker, curly ,tidy and more smooth.

I think it actually depends on individual dog.Amos also do regular trimming during puppyhood but now fur getting rough even tho i use conditioner all the while. I was also adviced by HOG ladyboss Annie that regular trimming can do the trick. but I noticed alot of the puppy after shave the new grow fur alot darker in color and shinnier. that's what i want to achieved in Boey so i shaved her.

yea thats true sinv, after the first time scarlet went for shaving her fur got more thicker too and darker

Even no need shaved all the new fur colour also darker just because baby fur covered. If poodle growth till 4 months old bring to trimming can also see the colour darker.Last time my Cherrie color blackie brown after trimming all the baby fur coat colour is darker.Some poodle coat after 3 months old new fur growing and old fur break , that might need to shave.

Some puppy around 3 to 4 months , start change coat. At butt some old fur is shed or break.

uh..i never know poodle wil shed 1. my 2 dog also no shed.
