QUOTE(vick5821 @ Nov 4 2008, 07:53 PM) add math form 5 ques Find the smallest term of the geometric progression 27 , 18, 12.... that is less then 2.. how? My mistake, 27, 18, 12, 8, 16/3, 32/9, 64/27, 128/81...it's the 8th term. For the 2nd question, the smallest term will be 78125/729 or the 8th term if i'm right. Since they want multiples of 7 the number after 150 is 154 (multiple 7) The number right before 450 which is also a multiple of 7 is 448. So a = 154, d = 7 Tn = 448 448 = a + (n-1)d 448 = 154 + 7n - 7 7n = 301 n = 43

Here's an interesting question. For the following data set (in ascending order): a, 6, 7, 7, b, c, 11, 12, 13, d, 17, 18
The mean is 10.75; The range is 13; The median is 10; The interquartile range is 7.
Find the values of a, b, c and d.
