Reviews from UK are out.
Apparently it is not as good as Skyfall, but still good movie just not the best 007 film.
Too long runtime.
Villains are not interesting.

I kinda have to lower expectations for this one. Still like Craig as Bond. Just hope for good old 007 fun like Kingsmen. Not expecting Oscar winning material

This cannot possibly be 'not as good as' skyfall -- there's nowhere else to go but up after the very dull and bland 'skyfall' - the question is whether it as good as 'casino royale'.

Spectre suck donkey balls. It's very sloppily put together...either Mendes and Graig wanted to get out of their contract binding or a victim of the infamous Tom Rothman meddling. Biggest gripe of all the tone is all over the places...it can't decide whether to continue the gritty version from Casino Royale or fall back to the cheesy Roger Moore era of 007.  Just scene after scene of exotic location with very uninteresting things in it. Convenient props or events will appear out of thin air to save 007 out of any situation he's in. The dialogue is quite horrid and really can't help but felt like watching a headless chicken routine. Gone are the grounded framework they established from the last few movies.

Damn this summary makes me feel like i've already watched the movie - should i even venture and try this out? Really hated Skyfall...

Further proof that it is no longer possible to produce a Bond feature of 'Casino Royale' caliber - lets review the highlights:
- filmnoirish opening in black n white -oooh something new in a bond movie
- INSANE parkour chase - my word, my palms sweat EVERY time i rewatch it on bluray on HT..
- locating the baddie in a resort - so entertaining!
- vesper n bond first meet up - witty conversation - opposed to each other but obviously attracted - reveals character personalities.
- high stakes card game that should be boring but isn't
- male bonding between captor and victim
- surprise rescue
- femme fatale surprise
- a mystery revealed to tantalize

So, is there anything in Spectre that could match or excel any of the above? So far, i've heard things are amped to the max with no rhyme or reason...

Spectre (2015)

Gosh, this is hard....

Why?

Because of... wait, I am getting ahead of myself...

First of all, I am sure most of you are familiar with the fact that a movie, usually consist of three arch!!

I kinda like the first two arch and then... the third happened and I went what the HECK!!!...

Again I am getting ahead of myself...

Secondly, is that Ed Sheeran's James Bond song? Er... what happened? He suddenly discovered falsetto?? Seriously!! (Shame on you Ed, and me, an actually fan!!)

The song is written and performed by Sam Smith - its not bad kind of grows on you - and Sam reportedly said it was hard to sing. There's a cover performed by a young English female student which is better than the original presented here.

Ironically, of all espionage films released this year, this one may be ranked the lowest.

True - its better than Skyfall but kind of bland - I'd rather watch 'Spy' with Melissa McCarthy anytime.

is it this one?

i think this song is more suited for a female's voice .

No there's another one and she is of schooling-age - but this one is better obviously as the vocal power is there.
Yes - more for a female voice - if only the producers had the sense to realize this before choosing Sam's vocal - i read it was a first take and they used it just like that!
