Dear mauinsons, I'm sorry I'm not able to get the Oakley Penny for. It has been discontinued since 2005 and there's plenty of X-metal frames like Juliet and Romeo which is pretty similar. Tell me if you're interested in any of those!

Cuz the ones in the optical shops, are all having this hologram attached to it.

According to those people working in the optical shop , The Purpose of this hologram is to certify that the rayband shades are AUTHENTIC...

Dear Cassie777, thank you for bringing that up. There are hologram stickers on most original Ray-ban. However, it does not mean those that dont have it is not original. Most of my ray-bans have that sticker! Some dont, but they come from the official distributer like that. Some fakes ALSO come with that sticker, you can check them out at Petaling Street. Conclusion, you cant tell real or fake through that sticker. Some ways to tell is:

1. People selling fakes sell them for really cheap, even lower than original cost at times (eg. less than Rm 400 is impossible. Dont believe? Go to establish shops like focus point, england optic, or paris miki- MidValley)

2. People selling only certain popular items, because they only make fakes for the popular models. The rest they dont have.

3. Made in USA. 100% fake, all models in Malaysia is after 1998, and all are made in Italy.

4. Others if you wanna know, PM me. But the above should be enough to differentiate original and not.
