So ive played alot of dota games with my friends. We are mix up malay and chinese player, and Im a malay myself. Whenever we are together we always use Bahasa Malaysia to chat and almost always there will be one or two player start calling names like Melayu Noob malaU babi (till now dont know why they think babi is an insulting words to us  ffs its just an animal that we cant eat haha) and etc..
We usually ignore them..if we are hosting we will kick that player first (usually they start calling names after the countdown starts..heh)

The thing here, I just wondering why is this happening in a peaceful country like Malaysia. I'm not ignorant so yes I know bout all the political staffs but why must bring it ingames? I have never ever seen a malay player insult the chinese players whenever they say them using chinese words. Usually our chinese friends defended us ingame like lanC back to them lol but hey..I knot its just a game and I will never remember their nick after the game is over so me and my fren will ignore the insults but sumtimes it can be too much. Dont matter if were winning or losing..the lanC never ends lol.

So why is this happening in our gaming community (dota specifically) nowadays and how to rectify it? ignore it? scold back? leave game?

i am a neutral.. but i will curse anyone who starts to use race as a reason to curse someone else. regardless of their race.

a lack of reliability in game or teamwork shouldnt be a reason for someone to curse other people's race !

what i mean is, i cant tolerate any racism in games. some idiots will never change until something really important happens. i dont care whether he/she hates other people from different race, just dont let other people see until they are look so Fk-ing obvious.

anyway, this problem is getting worse in certain parts of Malaysia but some parts in Malaysia also are getting better.

PLKN is one way of the many ways to eliminate racism.

Parents have to play a big role in educating their offsprings about race and racism. But if the parents is a racist, then there is a high probability that their children following their footsteps. BUT NOT ALL will Follow their parents footsteps.

Some will become racist by themselves, some will change to be a better person by themselves.
This is the last thing i want to point out,

Maybe you are not a racist, but you are Chinese. Suddenly, some ******* which is not a Chinese, calls you some racist word. Certainly, you would get angry and start to curse them back according to their Race.

Maybe you are not a racist, but you are Indian. Suddenly, some ******* which is not a Indian, calls you some racist word. Certainly, you would get angry and start to curse them back according to their Race.

THIS IS THE PROBLEM ! You shouldn't be calling them using racist words or phrases eventhough they called you using a racist word. Just try letting them go, Or better, PUNCH THEM IN THE FACE and tell this to that person "if you want to curse people race, then you go other country. I have no problem with your race. Infact, i have friends which are the same race with you and they are 100x more better than you. I have a problem with you cursing people with racist words. Regardless of your religion, race, i will hit your face until you realize that you shouldn't be cursing people using racist words."

BUT make sure that you are Fk-ing strong to beat that person up. If you're not, then walk away.

I love racist fights. It just makes the game more interesting.
