This case is Really pro..
For the sake of rm100... the con artist is willing to go this far.. probably on crack
But somethings are going through my mind..
one of them is,
Why is she voluntarily giving out her full name, IC number, address? It's fishy...
We have to keep it mind that maybe the real con artist is using some other person's name / address / ic!!

But still... luckily you kept all the msgs@@@@!!!

Confirmed that it's a con job for this deal & frankly, I'm surprised that she's willing to go this far for a mere RM100 & another RM400 from FarCry3r for the Nokia N70. Sigh...... I kept all her SMS & uploaded into my lappy. I deleted those stored in my phone as it's wasting my phone's memory.

i'm luckyly not buy n70 from her.. we closely to deal for n70 @ rm370 with postage to kl.. she ask me to bank in full amount before deepavali fest (27-10-2008).. but mine trade is stick to cod and no postage.. on her smsed to me look like matured girl.. sound goods but now is conwoman.. i'm share pity with u ts.. this girl must punish.. damn girl!!

just trying to be fair here...why can't this be postman who took the phone? He could do it and then re-package the thing?

Two ppl conned using the same technique (at the farking same time) and the congirl turned off the phone. Why want to blame the postman?

I did have the same thought where I suspected maybe those postman grabbed the phone & re-packaged back the parcel. But as FarCry3r said, would it be such a coincidence where my parcel & his encountered the same problem? I doubt so as I've sent stuffs ranging from magazines, pc hardware as well as phone over to friends/colleagues/friends thru Poslaju service. Doesnt have the same problem & those parcels I sent arrived safely with the contents attached as well.

She definitely not going to use the phone number anymore & dammit, I still haven't got her details yet from Maxis counterparts. I guessed RM100 is the price I'm going to lose to learn this lesson. NO MORE postage deals anymore!

Both of you should lodge reports to police. I think they will accept this case as both of you faced the same situation. Got evidences some more , don't let other LYN members become victims of this "innocent" 17 yo girl(may b guy bcoz the handwriting doesn't look like a girl's handwriting).

nd, i can help u track down this girl, i'm a ex student of this kkhs (kota kinabalu high school)..but i have to make some plan first,,

we advice everyone time over time and over time not to deal with new users. But people stubborn because they look at price first.

Everything you do there a specify procedure before dealing anything but many people dont care.

1st Check his contact number/name/address/banking account/ or any related information.
2nd Check who have deal with him before.
3rd Check the current market price and compare if the price is too good to be true its always too good to be true.

4th Suggest COD to prevent any complication regardless whats the amount
5th Set a limit for online banking maybe RM100 ? or maybe RM 200
6th NEVEREVER DEAL POSTAGE WITH A NEW MEMBER OR NEWBIE.
7th NEVEREVER BANK IN TO HIS SISTER/FATHER/MOTHER/GRANDPA Account make sure its his/her/its account.

Alot ppl use pretty/handsome photo to cheat ppl these days
