Hey guys, well I just would like to post a highlight here regarding on my deal with the above seller with the nick, KY_Lee who's name supposed to be Judith / Amanda Lee Kar Yan (17 yrs old girl) from KL but moved to KK, Sabah. The issue now that I've currently facing is she was FFK-ed by a buyer for her imobile 520 phone that I'm interested with. I asked her whether can close deal with me & she said it's been reserved for the previous buyer so I dropped the deal. After 2 days she SMS me saying that the buyer FFK her for the deal & asked me whether I'm still interested with it or not for the same price of RM200 including postage with Poslaju. I thought for a while & I was desperate looking for a temporary phone as got my 2nd phone stolen when I went for a meeting in downtown KL 2 weeks ago.

So initially I've confirmed the purchase with KY_Lee & she said that I should bank in 50% of the selling price (RM100) from the RM200 selling price into her account before she could proceed with the deal. Well, I promised that I'll bank in to her account & she provided me with her brother's Maybank account no. under the name of Lee Kok Yew (1012 0819 3308) which I eventually banked in RM100 into it on 30th Oct 2008. Her contact number is 017-6200 114

I provided her with my name as well as mailing address in order for her to send the phone parcel using Poslaju. She promised & even confirmed that she'll be posting the parcel on Friday (31st Oct) afternoon around 3pm but failed to do so due to her brother's schedule & confirmed again to send on Sat (1st Nov) morning that shall be arriving at my place on Mon (3rd Nov). I've a feeling that she'll be delaying the postage this time & bingo, she asked her friend by name of Ell (who's also a member here in LYN by the nick - eLL_lAzyPiG) by sms me using the number, 016-971 8991 saying that she involved in a car crash & this Judith / Amanda will refund me on Monday morning provided that I sms her my bank acc no.

Sigh..... frankly, it's such a hassle & this little girl wasted my time just to wait for her updates on the status. She doesn't bother to sms me even a single word to update me & I've called her number twice but no answer. I understand maybe she's away in school or what-so-ever reasons but this is not the way it should be. FYI, I've chat with her thru phone conversation before banking in to her & definitely, she's a young girl voice. She's a nice to chat with person but business deal is deal...... deliver what u promised at the 1st place & if can't the refund buyer. Simple deal right?

Last nite (4th Nov) this KY_Lee (Judith/Amanda) sms me that her brother finally sent the phone using Poslaju & tracking number provided as well. I was busy the whole day yesterday due to meetings so didn't have the time to check the status. I checked the tracking number this morning & there's nothing at all. I hope that she's not another con artist & the reason I posted this is to highlight as well as serve as information to other potential buyers for the items she posted in the future. I'm still awaiting her update & reply later in the afternoon after she's off from school. She's currently sitting for her SPM as she told me thru her sms messages. I kept & stored all her SMS in my phone as well as those that I've replied her. I'll take some snapshots on the SMS later if she doesn't get back to me on the status by today.

P/S: I'm not worried bout the RM100 that I banked into her brother's Maybank acc, I just dislike seeing these con artists lurking here in LYN forums conning hard earned $$$ from other members. AFAIK, she gave another tracking no. to her N70 buyer & he/she unable to track the status.

** Judith / Amanda (KY_Lee) if you are reading this, please get back to me on the status by today midnite on the phone or refund status. I've told u thru our SMS as well as phone conversations that I wouldn't be happy if u pulled tricks on our deal ok. **

I'll close this topic once I've either received the imobile 520 phone set parcel from u in working order OR u refunded me RM100 into my Maybank account.

Well, I've personally chat with her thru phone calls & indeed she's a girl. I'm also suspecting that either she or her brother is the con artist or both in the same boat. I'm not too concern bout the RM100 that I banked in as it's not a big amount just that I'm desperate for a phone before I go outstation for my business trip. Besides, I often flies over KK, Sabah..... since she said she's there, why not I pay her a visit? Checking & getting her details is easy but I don't think that I'll do it for a mere RM100.

Just what I've said, I posted up this topic to alert other buyers when it comes to her sale topic.

It's a coincidence where her bro's name as well as her name have the same initials like KY_Lee as her nick here in LYN. Anyway, I'll wait for her update till tonite & if she failed to do so then I'll deal with her in another way.

Well guys, my latest update!!! Confirmed that KY_Lee is a con artist & I'm one of his/her victim.

Yesterday, I received the parcel that she sent to my mailing address & it's only a imobile 520 phone box with old newspaper & dunno what kind of charger in it. No phone, battery or warranty card. I've snapped the photos of the parcel & I'l upload it here!

I'll also upload the SMS messages that she sent as well as my replies here as well.

I've the same feeling like what u said buddy. I'm sure that she'll blamed it on Poslaju for the lost of phone during delivery process. She off her phone since yesterday when I tried to SMS & call her. It's a dirt cheap price that I paid to know that she's a con artist.

Well, I'm pretty sure that she wont refund the RM100 to me. Sigh..... 17 yrs old girl who's sitting for SPM edi a con artist here in public online forums. Good for her & dammit, her price is even cheaper than those PRC girls. Hahahaha.....

Ell, could u PM me Judith's brother's phone number to me as well? Thanks! I think it's u who SMS me using the 016 number last week right?

Frankly speaking buddy, no one will help as it doesn't involve their money ma. Worst still they'll say why we (victims) so naive & stupid to bank in money into a stranger's account after numerous cases like this.

At 1st I didn't jump into straight conclusion that she's a con-woman but when I received the so called imobile 520 phone set parcel from Poslaju, it was just a freaking empty box with loads of newspapers cutting slips with a charger. Dunno what type of charger also. I'm uploading the photos in a short while.

This is my last time to deal with postage deals here in LYN. That's why all my topic are COD only!

Confirmed that it's a con job for this deal & frankly, I'm surprised that she's willing to go this far for a mere RM100 & another RM400 from FarCry3r for the Nokia N70. Sigh...... I kept all her SMS & uploaded into my lappy. I deleted those stored in my phone as it's wasting my phone's memory.

I did have the same thought where I suspected maybe those postman grabbed the phone & re-packaged back the parcel. But as FarCry3r said, would it be such a coincidence where my parcel & his encountered the same problem? I doubt so as I've sent stuffs ranging from magazines, pc hardware as well as phone over to friends/colleagues/friends thru Poslaju service. Doesnt have the same problem & those parcels I sent arrived safely with the contents attached as well.

She definitely not going to use the phone number anymore & dammit, I still haven't got her details yet from Maxis counterparts. I guessed RM100 is the price I'm going to lose to learn this lesson. NO MORE postage deals anymore!

I've stopped replying to this topic as eLL_lAzyPiG already refunded me the cash & I've got nothing more to say here in this topic. What I can assure is this is going to be last ever time to deal with any strangers here thru postage. COD or fark the deal off only. Everyone is looking for a cheap deal & same goes for me but the risks are there so bear the risk by all means yourself.

I would like to thank eLL_lAzyPiG for her effort in dealing with me & I appreciated it a lot.

I'm not the one who asked eLL_lAzyPiG to refund me on behalf KY_Lee & she offered me the refund. I assumed that mine was just a mere RM100 & even there's no refund, it doesn't matter much to me. Anyhow, I would like praise eLL_lAzyPiG for being such a nice member & how I wish she's not Judith's friend.

Frankly, I won't bank in the full amount to anyone for any deal no matter how cheap it is except the figure is below RM 200.
