Yes, during 1998, if not mistaken, not remember the exact year. It was during KLSE dropped to 2xx or around 3xx times, whereby across the board from TNB, AMMB, to all other big cap, all were trading limit up by noon time, those fails to limit up at that time, consider poor already.

For KLSE, Reit is only born around 2005 or 2006.

30% up in one session is limit up..

30% down in one session is limit down..

EXCEPT...

for shares RM1.00 and below..

up 30 cents is the limit up price..

down 30 cents is the limit down price..

Plenty of limit ups - Renong and Time during the 2001 dotcom bubble. I still remembered that....Renong warrants from 0.19 to 1.80 in 2 weeks, Time almost the same.......then 1 fine day some foreign funds dumped huge shit, KLSE went from +10 to -20++ in 5 mins.

Oh yah, I was stupid that time, only made losses . Luckily I never had much money, so I lost <20k total.

This is not suomething that declare or stop trading.

Just it is the max/min price that particular session that the price can go. The system doesn't allow people to trade, key in more/less than the limit set.

if i used the old names, 99% of the forumers would be blur blur.
