Whereas dividend stock such as YTL POWER AXREIT don have much movement at all…Perhaps that’s the drawback of buying dividend counter.

Even if Obama being president, doesn't mean the financial crisis problem has gone away overnight or economy start to roll hot again.
Stock market is about economy health and corporate earning (the main criteria), without improvement on corporate earning, stock market has no reason to rise or has strong footing on the upside.
