Racism, is everywhere. Ignore it, as far as I know, it hasn't got to a violent level, unless of course, you are the one creating problems. There are some rotten apples but mostly on the whole, you can become friends with anyone (refering to locals, there)

I feel blessed to have the opportunity to study overseas. Broadens your mind, perspective & overall outlook on life. I used to get homesick a lot in the beginning, mostly because of food & families. Now, I think sometimes I get the opposite of homesick, what do you call that eh? And uh I was in the UK.
