no lor, the best if of course 4 months if you wanna make $$$$, 2 months i dont think enough to break even
depends on the employer, some do some dont.. usually dont will pay more.. accomodation is not worth it, only meals... it depends on location..
18? u must at least be on college, yea.. 18 is the minimum age.. dont wry, it is not a scam.. once you are in nott, you will 100% get to know the program... every year there's at least 80-120 students from nott goes for this program.

SeLrAhC,
1) Great story!!! Congratulation!!
2) Would you mind summarizing the strategy that you use to achieve your goal??
Is it??
A) Enroll in 2 + 2 ADP program or University of Nottingham or so on.
http://www.speedwing.org/ B) While in Malaysia, use the work and travel program to work in USA during summer. Earn and save the money.
C) Use the money to finance the university course in USA. Work in USA part-time during semester and full-time during summer.
D) Graduate with Bachelor degree -> go into Master
In my family situation, the later generation has an easier path. My family is spread across 30+ countries in the world. So, usually, there is someone that they can lived with. So, room and board is closed to free. So, as per USA, if the room and board is free and you go to community college, USD 10K per year is enough. If the person work a bit, we just need to sponsor 5K per year excluding room and board. So, it is not that much more than local IPTA.
But, we STILL have a bunch of failures. Our nephews were TOO LAZY. They just party and never show up for class. Our nieces are doing fine.

1) thanks.. just trying to go through life...hope this can help u guys better ^^
2) yea.. but my story is a bit diff... i did monash, 1st time was during my 2nd year... 2nd time was after my 4th years.. now is the last time bfore my convo in sept...
the strategy u wrote is the best option, but at D) after graduation, do 3 years OPT (by working 3 years u should have gotten tonnes of $$$$), then do your masters and do another 3 years OPT... by then i think u will have at least 1/2 million ringgit, and should be able to return proud or u can opt to apply for greencard/h1b
lol.. when kids are spoiled, they end up like that... a lot of 2nd gen asian american kids are like that... they parents struggle to get a US greencard through legal/illegal means from before.. and allow their kids to be citizens, but their kids grew up to be like real american kids... see sometimes also wanna slap
