13k for 4 wow. Is that the amount you bringing home or it was the sum of the money you made in 4 months?
I have taken living expenses into equation and I can hardly come out with more than 2k a month.
Btw your employer doesn't tax you?

you will get full tax refund if you did not get the amount they set up. you claim it with social security not your status.

10k in 4 months is really good money. For instance a director who makes 5k a month will only take home 2.5-3k+ depends on the insurance and stuff. you work as waiter right?

this spring is weird, its mid april now and it is still chilly.

can't help you with college, you gotta do more research on it. choose the one that will transfer the most credit hours and with sufficient expenses. you might not get as much credit hours transfer since your gpa is average.

your english is pretty good. need to worries on approaching to foreigner. you may stumble yourself in some embarrasing and awkward moments alot in the beginning, but gradually you should be able to pick up the pace.

you might want to bring over some of your favorite clothes. don't buy winter clothes in malaysia. laptop is affordable and cellphone is free but with contract.

btw when you reached here, look for financial aid of your school and get better grade to qualify for scholaship.
