1st of all, I would like to apologize if I am not suppose to ask this question here. However, I really don't know where to ask. So please forgive me ah ...

I m going to setup a cyber cafe will 50 stations. I am wondering if I buy a Windows Small Business Server 2003 Standard edition would be sufficient. Does this standard edition includes with 75 users or devices license? This mean I just need to buy once and do not need to buy more CAL ? Appreciate if someone could advice me on this.

usually Windows Server OEM come with 5 CALs.. so you just need to buy additional 70 users/devices CALs.. yes you only need to pay once..

Typically, majority of those cybercafe ah, what Windows Server they use ah ? Since I need to pay so much licensing, can I just setup a PC with Linux OS then this act as a proxy and connect to Windows server. All my 50 stations will connect to a switch and this switch will eventually connect to the Linux PC. In this way, the Windows SBS just connect to a device, which is the Linux PC, and I do not need to buy so many license which gonna cost me a lot of $$. Will this cause any licensing issue?

just curious why you need Windows SBS not Standard Edition? anyway there are alot of consultant out there helping to setup a cybercafe..
