Kencana now RM1.44...still worth to chip-in? but now the petroleum sector really like riding roller-coaster.

I never sold my kencana that I bought for 2.51 last yr.
I think this is a well managed company - just look at their order book.

Certainly this counter is not a counter for you to hold long term....It is more on speculation stock... Try to look at their balance sheet, EPS

DPS so far is 0 consecutively 2 years.

Just my two cents

actually, I do buy some at 2.48 last year too. but this price seems to be a goreng price when petrol price is sky high.
I kinda read some news saying their order book can sustain their business for another 2 years, not sure how true is this.

DPS?...do u mean EPS (earning per share), as far as i know is not 0 cents. From the financial report, it's like increasing year-to-year. But agree, not so much confident in holding it long term.
because recently got big change in the CEO board. But news says they are approaching Saudi for a big contract...

DPS = DIVIDEND PER SHARE. So far is zero dividend. YUP last year EPS is 20 sen...So basically give you PE Of 12 times if you bought at RM 2.48 but do remember now our Crude oil price decline badly...And like what you said.. this type of counter is goreng counter...

Maybe can goreng lo. EPF acquired 63,556,900 shares or 7.05% on 29th April. I don't think I'll touch it, there are plenty of other more delicious fishes in the sea.
