QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Feb 2 2009, 07:59 AM) Change...? How? Is it skinning or custom ROM all together? Sorry, very blur lah. Just woke up costume rom from TARIL I noticed that HK3 was sucking up my battery like hell. Thats why I upgraded to DXIA2. Later I might install mobileturks ROM because its 'lighter' (still waiting for tercupee for battery life review and M2D that i installed myself~ works great means i retian my original samsumg today screen at the same time i still can use my M2D i now left with 30mb storage and 40mb program after installing everything (including gps and stuff) |

Added on February 2, 2009, 3:47 pmwhich port u use in garmin then? as suggested i used com7~ the speed still same but after some tweaking, its blazing fast...below 1minutes from cold booting |

QUOTE(lynxs @ Feb 4 2009, 10:55 AM) yeah, you can actually read about it at one of the GPS forums. The maps of Malfree are actually more lively. Its just that their coverage of the whole malaysia is quite poor. Some places got no cover. But thats improving pretty soon with the rapid updates of the maps. yeah i tried malfree maps Johor Muar area coverage very low~ balik kampung got lost hahahaI may switch to malfree once their coverage improves. p.s. kalbum: perhaps we could update the first post with signature images for OMNIANS? Just a suggestion. but melaka area, and selangor and kl very good |

"Improve" as in term of "INSTANT" lol basically it's the same concept as in Quick GPS in HTC models. anyway, from what i read as in earlier post, even if XTRA is disabled(with some registry changes),gps can still get fix pretty fast. as of how improved is the word "improved" actually indicates,i've got no idea. i calculated that its more like instant..around 5 sec, after tweaking the baud rate to the max This post has been edited by Maximp: Feb 4 2009, 03:52 PM |
