Windows Vista Hang

My pc hangs when running Windows Vista Ultimate,I also cannot press Ctrl+Alt+Del,the whole Windows just hang.What's wrong?
Here is my pc spec: Mainboard : Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 Processor : AMD Athlon 64 3500+ @ 2200 MHz Ram : 1536 MB Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT Hard Disk : Seagate (80 GB) Hope somebody can help,thanksss. |

Do u OC your proc?
If yes,try run default clock.. |

My friend sometimes hang when using vista ulti.
Then he try changing RAM. Work a bit better, but not that good. Just run-able. |

Update chipset, audio and video drivers. These are the 'essential' drivers to keep Vista in a sane condition. Also, make sure you are running Vista SP1 - - a must ! Fully update using Windows Update - - another must ! Most Vista users simply choose to ignore these, and end up screwing the os instead. That should take care of 'most' the issue. Believe me. If problem persists, try disabling third-party apps running in the background (check taskbar to see app icons...). |
