Tried many Linux distros, but most of it feels buggy and unstable.

Any good and interesting ones to recommend?

any chance for Linux Mint Cinamon (or other distro) to support USB data tethering (PDANET like) and wifi hotspot sharing (just like in Win10)?

That's the only thing that stop me from completely migrating to Linux.

Help me say goodbye to Microsoft for good.

Interesting.  hmm.gif But it looks like I'm going to need to get technical with the OS - open terminal and running back and forth to forums read how to guide if I want it running with all my favorite apps.

Currently on Ubuntu MATE. Uses more resources compared to previous OSes, but web browsing on Chromium is significantly much faster than other. Plus the software center looks better than others.

Edit: tried the cloudready OS. not edge scrolling option... i just can't. guess i am not ready. also, the video playback is not as good as Ubuntu MATE.

ubuntu getting bloatware. the base os getting bigger. try stable distro based slackware or debian stable one.
then linux desktop. some desktop eat more resources than others.
32 bit if available

Salix Xfce. ready to use slackware
Devuan xfce. EXE GNU/LINUX (Devuan with Trinity Desktop)

Raspberry Pi Desktop. debian based with mate.
Q4OS TDE Desktop. Can use MX linux repo for more extra and update app.
MX linux Fluxbox.

Latest linux distro release getting bigger and bigger.
Anyone looking linux for old computer may try debian derivatives based lite distro

user posted image
End Of life this month.

MX linux with Open box LXDE desktop
Open synaptic and install some mx- package
More lite than MX Lite and mx base.iso release
Pin Linux

Antix linux very confusing to use.
This spin is Antix based with Open box LXDE desktop ready to use
Bento Antix Linux

Sparky stable edition

Anyway the problem with old cpu not just OS getting bigger, web browser firefox and chrominium based eat memory for modern web site eg facebook. shopee and youtube.

6GB RAM is the minima for today web. 4GB + 2GB. 4GB RAM taken over by web browser itself

Another option is using debian 32 bit PAE stable distro. The catch is some application no longer have 32 bit release
