Added on November 20, 2008, 8:02 pm

i don't have the monitor laa.. i'm going to buy.. prefer the 2233BW than the E2200 i think..

At lowyat, not so sure about the exact price, so do when PC fair will be held. Here at Kuching, local pc fair will be held 5-7 Dec 08. Same location, Permata Car Park, Kuching, if you are staying here. tongue.gif

what is S-IPS?? i really donno about it.. icon_question.gif

Kindly use the search engine next time smile.gif

* S-IPS/H-IPS panels are generally considered the best all around panel type, but they are more expensive and very few are made. High end, expensive.

* S-PVA/MVA panels offer better color reproduction and viewing angles than TN panels, have slightly worse response times than TN or S-IPS, offer the best contrast ratios, may suffer from color shifting or input lag and have higher availability than S-IPS panels. Mid range, fair price.

* TN panels are very cheap and have the fastest response times, but suffer from inferior color reproduction, contrast ratios and viewing angles. Low end, inexpensive.

Shet! I thought I was in the Gainward thread! Went OT with them  doh.gif

Anyways, since I'm using a 4850GS, the typical 16:10 22" resolution is the best for me right instead of the 1920x1080 22"?

Anyone has a comparison side by side for a 1680x1050 22" versus 1920x1080 22"? Wanna compare how much smaller the words are.
*
22inch full hd 16:9 monitor got a very small pixels compared with normal 22 inch 16:10 monitor to achieve a higher resolution and better image quality.

for example:

BenQ E2200HD Pixel Pitch: 0.248

Samsung 2233bw pixel pitch: 0.282
