QUOTE(kayden @ Nov 18 2008, 11:18 AM) http://www.samsung.com/my/consumer/detail/...d=LS22TWHSUV/XM I think Samsung misguide us. I also wonder why they put full HD 1080p but after I checked in their brochure (Download Brochure), Full HD 1080p only applicable for T220HD. This model has embedded DTV tuner and speaker. How come samsung advertise their T220 as full HD when the resolution is 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+)? |

After a few weeks using 22", I think anything bigger than 1680 X 1050 will give smaller images.
When doing my graphic work, previously, I always work in Actual Size to see the exact image size on screen. Because common monitor screen size still use 1024 X 768 resolution, most of my images work are less than that. Specially for small bar and button which have less than 50 X 50 size, even in 1680 X 1050 resolution the images are small. So, from this experience, although I never have the opportunity to see HD monitor with my own eyes, I believe it will produce smaller images when in Actual Size view. But I believe other than that, HD is good for movies and games. |
