Hi.. I wanna ask some rs question.. I recently buy the rs premium account.. N now it's limit by 2.66GB/day.. How can i increase the download limit? I mean is there any option or package i can buy to download more than 2.66GB/day?
*
First way is to pay RS to buy their trafficshare (it was their purpose to do so anyway). Second way is to upload/remote upload like some users and use the rapidpoints for more bandwith (what i'm doing).

what tofuwizard and I usually do is use remote upload to Megaupload  from other MU or RS links, then remote upload to RS from MU
this method requires you to have a working MU account

*
Lol thanks..now i don't have to write a whole bunch of words laugh.gif

But i'm remote uploading some stuff directly from a server i know of for those western tv shows

*
Try the rapidmanager. Rapiduploader is known to give some problems

greedy, and want to promote their trafficshare
on the other hand, it might be due to they reaching the breaking point liao, where the subscription fees are not really enuff to cover the server and bandwidth costs
cos so many generate account and sell outside, these income are not reaching them
but they dun want to increase the subscription, in case ppl run away
*
So do u think their business plan is working so far? tongue.gif

Nope, it shouldn't working, but those uploaders still supporting them...
Well, coming from an uploader point of view, majority of the users(i'm not talkin about m'sia rs users only) still prefer RS links than other filehosts.

when download with rs, try globalcrossing. I always get full speed using this server.

BTW I know it's not the correct thread but for users with both RS and MU premium accounts. How is the speed compared for both.

I tried the free membership and the download speed sucks big time. Maybe because it is not premium. In the premium can we also choose download servers or it's all auto like in this Mega Manager software. So any idea?

BTW I really hate it when 3rd party application hijack the browser functions. Gonna remove Mega Manager now and hopefully all this hijacking will go away. FYI I opt no to install the browser toolbar but MU still hijack the 404 and other stuff. Is this the same with the premium too?
*
They're pretty much the same to me. The problem actually lies with Streamyx and their crappy speeds on some IPs. For MU, i don't think there is a way to choose the server like in RS.

Yes, the 3rd part apps hijacks your browser but you can disable and uninstall it in your FF/IE options > add ons. Still annoying though
