sorry.. a simple question here.
how to set RAM:FSB 1:1 ratio? (my proc is 266.7Mhz)
can i maintain 3:2 ratio and OC? this means i m OC-ing my ram too?
how high can a KVR DDR2 800Mhz OC with 3:2 ratio? or i should set it to 1:1 before proceeding to OC?
Using EP455-UD3L..

QUOTE(bobiac @ Jun 1 2009, 10:30 PM) set ur memory to limit at ddr2-533. so u will have 1:1 ratio. now happy OCing. oh thanks.. i m juz OC-ing with stock HSF.. dun hav extra money to get custom cooler.. slowing pushing the FSB onli.. haven up any Vcore yet.. if wanna add Vcore is set at the +10mV there? or sth like tat.. so far juz push 100Mhz onli, idle temp still at 38°C..

QUOTE(bobiac @ Jun 2 2009, 04:55 PM) LLC is load line calibration. decrease vdroop. usually i turn it on so its easier for me to "bajet" the vcore. ya.. i noe it stands for load line calibration.. my question is.. we enable it when we need to change voltage rite? or else juz off it?

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Jun 2 2009, 09:22 PM) u need to stress prime95 for almost 1 day to really test for full stability.thts why i prefer LinX or IBT more can giv a brief method of using LinX? what "problem size" and "memory to use should" i put? or juz use default? how many loops i need to put?

QUOTE(gamers maniac @ Jun 2 2009, 11:39 PM) i prefer linx rather than prime95.. just run 30 loops is enuf 4 me. it consume around 30min only what "problem size" and "memory to use should" u use? to see if it is stable is it refer to residual?? if all the values for residual match then its stable?

so, do we need to touch mch core voltage? when onli we need to touch mch core voltage..
currently i OC from 2.8Ghz --> 3.0Ghz still with stock voltage.. will go up higher later.. LinX test stable..

QUOTE(yimingwuzere @ Jul 3 2009, 12:44 PM) How difficult can it be? The NB has two screws (just use a screwdriver), the nearby heatsink which it's attached to has three clips. Certainly less scary than installing the CCF on any Intel motherboard. I'm using 4*1GB DDR2-800 D9H Tracers at as high as DDR2-1066 without any memory issues. ya i admit.. tat's y i rather choose Xiggy RS over CCF for easy installation and the performance is more or less the same.. now hunting for cheap Xiggy RS.. anyone has one and wanna sell it?
