tried searching and breezing through all the many threads and posts, but couldn't find anything about my question.

i have an officially unlocked iphone3g, firmware 2.1, jailbreaken. can i just directly use quickpwn to update+jailbreak to firmware 2.2 one shot... or must I update via iTunes first, THEN only use quickpwn to jailbreak??

don't scold me if the answer's already out there somewhere. i tried looking for the past hour-ish, no luck. point me in the right direction someone.
