question :-
do i need to have gprs/edge/3g in order to use the gps function in iphone3g?
since it uses google map and need to download the map every now and then (right?!?)

that is what im thinking. mine is jb, and i have the map of my location now. but everytime i pinpoint my location, the gps just wont work.

plus, can it show direction, i mean from A to B. no right?

no wonder, i try it in my house! i'll give a try tomorrow on my way to school..

So it is possible to use GPS with offline maps without 3G/EDGE << can i assume this? thanks.
