I am on first gen iphone and I guess I'm on jailbreak So its possible?

if i install app from app store, actually where did it located?? in the primary 500mb or the 2nd partition??

now for ur information 500mb is the the one where u JailBreak it..., the Jailbreak divided the storage of iphone memory to 500mb (can choose acctually) to install the 3rd party apps tht is in cydia and installer...

the rest of the iphone memory, is where the apple store apps lies....

After installation, launch your aplication and simply hold down the Home button to "minimize" the application. Call it back up again using its app icon, and then hold the home button again to kill it off for real. Backgrounder could worked with at least four apps up running.

Btw, This will definitely suck your batt usage.

Bakgrounder it's a Mobile Substrate-based extension. So you will not see any icon on your homescreen.

So anyone having a blank WinterBoard after u installed it?? Im havin a 16GB 3G Ver2.2 here...

There's no default theme like Saurik or others...

But as I check on the path through SSH... themes are all located at appropriate path... weird~~~

im not sure im asking in the right place...

can any 1 tell me where to repair my 2G iphone? the volume control button is stucked.. and now the speaker volume is getting lower and lower....

i googled b4 and i found that many have facing the same volume button stuck problem

I don't know the solution to that lol... I would do a fresh resintall though. If that doesn't work there is always restoring the phone.

Look in /private/var/stash and can u see 2 'Theme.XXXX' folder? If so u need to delete both and reinstall winterboard.

If I upgrade my iPhone from 1.1.4 to 2.0 would all the contacts and everything lost?

Yes everything will lost everytime u upgrade da firmware or restore.
