Anyone knows where to get the 1000HE with the N280 processor? I have asked Asus at Mid Valley but they only have the N270. Have yet to visit Lowyat though but any help here may be appreciated so I can just zoom to the shop straight. Thanks.

Thanks havocx. Since it's Labaour Day today, I dragged myself out of bed and managed to find a few units selling a Lowyat and at attractive price of RM1599 running on the N280. I didn't buy it though. Probably next week. WOOT! icon_idea.gif

I bought it last friday...RM1599 at C-Net Lowyat. Free upgrade RAM to 2GB. Not Kingston though..but it's ok since they let me keep the 1GB original. Add RM39 for extra warranty from U Care.
May I know what's the original RAM brand and what brand did C-Net upgrade for you? Thanks in advance.

Finally got my black 1000HE from Enerview (very good service) Lowyat today. RM1748 with 2GB Kingston RAM and 2 years warranty. Price was high cause I opt for 18 months installment plan.

I have to agree the mouse button on the 1000HE is a real disappointment. They are tilted about 45 degrees to the front and kinda hard to press. However, it's not a main problem as an external mouse is always a good option. Besides, I'm loving my 1000HE.
