The price of Edifier S730 is always RM999 one, but I heard if you bought during PCfair they will give you 2 years warranty instead of normal 1 year warranty.

Planned to send it back to Kedah one initially, but then suddenly my landlord is selling his house so gotta move out in a rush... Don't really hv time to arrange with the courier company sad.gif So btr off getting the Razer Mako, easier to carry around. Hopefully the SQ won't disappoint me.

Okay, finally got the Razer Mako in the house. Playing songs now. First impression is... I feel that there's an over hyped on this speakers. Unless the sound will actually improve over time with extensive cooking, otherwise, seriously those who said this speaker can match the Edifier S730D, you might want to get ur ears checked immediately xD

Lesson learnt: You don't need THX certified to actually sound good ^^v

If not comparing to Edifier S730D, I've to say that the Razer Mako, based on its size , the performance is pretty impressive, dunno whether I was tired this morning or what, the speakers sound bad jus now( or may be i shouldn't compare it to the Edifier S730D that has been fully burnt in after all). Just now I left the speakers to play for around 8 hours(with pink noise), now the sound is pretty ass-kicking. Anyway, I shall write a brief review on this speaker together with the comparison to the Edifier S730D when my exam is over xD Stay tuned tongue.gif

P/S: My Soundcard spoiled so rite now I'm connecting the Razer Mako directly to the Mac, wait until my iBasso D1 is fixed then I shall comment on the speakers again smile.gif

Sometimes you do learn to appreciate the system after you acknowledge its shortcoming. I have a couple bad memories with BA7500, MX5021 and ATP3 (newer version).

Yup, that's what I tot initially, however I don't think so, I can assure you that the Razer Mako is way btr than the MX5021 in term of clarity, no doubt on that, the bass of the Mako altho is not as strong as MX5021, yet it's not weak either, just nice smile.gif Furthermore, I tested it without any SC, thus I should prob get my SC fixed first b4 I comment further on it ^^

Em, if you put all setting at "0", there won't be any bass from both the satellite speakers and subwoofer. Edifier S730D is indeed an impressive speaker, pair it with a decent soundcard coz this baby needs to b fed well cool.gif

Love the E3100 vocal, but the bass quantity is not enough in proportion to the vocal. Eg. Cymbal and bass guitar too soft.
Using E3100 for music ( looking for better one ) and movie ( good enough to me ).
