S550 and S750's design is almost the same.

I think S330 and S530D will more suitable for u since u like bass song. U can test it at Edifier showroom, please remember to bring along your song.

just get myself a pair of M3300SF, rm250, is that a reasonable price?

I'd tested it for bout 3hrs+, clarity, like it.

bass, feel like it's not solid enough, I'm not a bass head, but the bass come out just like wind's sound...wuuuuuuuuu

may I know what is the problem? is the nature of the speaker or maybe Im using build-in soundcard?

may I know what speaker you're using now? yeah, I do not need very solid bass like those in the club, but at least don't give me the wuuuuuuuuuu fan-alike sound. (I want a woofer that have good bass response, can go very deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep, not wuuuuuuuuuuuuu sound)

actually I seen lots of 2nd hand sound card in the garage, some sell for RM60 only, is there any big difference with the built-in card?

i was like you before. the thing is, u cannot really tell the difference if u compare onboard and cheap soundcard straight. even so my x-fi 5.1 usb.
but i guess, what other said, below 100 is a waste. at least get a xonar or x-fi.

but, as time flies, i tweak here and there, when i listen back to my onboard, it sounds crap. so the best is not to compare side-by-side, but to use it for prolonged time, then u listen to onboard. anyway, beside soundcard, i also tweak my wmp11, otherwise cant really boost the performance.

srs audio sandbox = no-no
dfx sound enhancer = no-no
ffdshow audio decoder = resample & lfe crossover.
x-fi bass boost= yes, @40hz

I asked the PC shop which selling Edifier, no any S series available in their shop. If you want, then need order but no chance test before buy....   and then the guy say can try on Penang PC Fair, he say this time they will bring some S series during Penang PC Fair...so try wait and see....i'm not very sure too...... why S series cannot in Penang? 

Yea, not available in M'sia. A lot of ppl are waiting for this baby to arrive, they will certainly go nuts if it's discontinued before even reaching M'sia

I heard Gadget Zone in Penang hv Edifier products. May be you want to try ur luck there xD But I heard the price is 10-20% higher than price in LYP. 

may i noe how much is s330 n c3 cost?

So...how about this coming PC Fair in KL? can find S550D or S750....? If can find it, i might ask my fren help to get one....if price acceptable....

Yea, If you buy the Edifier S730D then it's even worse, it's 30 kg and the box is so big. So it's wise to drag one fren along and let him suffer with you

I just wend back from Penang PC-Fair.
I dont see neither S550 nor S550D....show unit  ....
But S730 is there....the wooder is damm big..... too noisy surrounding, is the Edifier woofer is softly (warm) or hardly one?....i prefer softly bass/ sub woofer...anyone can tell me about this...? i need to know by now....help......

but anyway, the guy said S750 is available, need to order for it....
S750 = RM1499
S550 = RM1299
S550D = they not sure
S730 = RM9xx (forgot)

wonder to get S750....but dont know why when i email Inter-Asia, they replied this model is not available..... weird.... is the surface is same as S730 or C3?..... i prefer non-shining suface.....

It's always cheaper to grab speaker from Singaope, I remembered my bro bought his Altec Lansin MX5021 from S'pore as well, it costs only around RM500++ and it was 6 years ago ady, bring back to M'sia then carried all the way to UK lol. Salute him
