 Help! A screwed up screw, harddisk removal

There is actually a kind of specific tool to remove screws like these.
Piece of very hard metal rod pointed at one end.
Pointed end has thread just like screws, but in reverse direction.
So you'll need to drill a very small hole, and screw in the tool to the screw.
Used to own a set, but now not with me.
Available at hardware stores.

Actually, it's called screw removal set.

The set I used to have is a smaller set. No pliers. Only 5 or 6 pcs.
Cost around RM2X few years ago.

If you cannot find the set or does not want to buy one, those that service hardware (drills/machinery) will usually have a set in their workshop. Can ask them to help you out.

Yes drill bit will work too. But experienced driller necessary.
