the first goal was really nice work from Modric. and our second was a lucky deflection from Bentley's free kick. nonetheless, Bentley also contributed to the first goal by making an uncomfortable cross in from the right side.

i dunno why we wanna sign him even though we only have 2 CBs that can play week-in week-out. Still dunno what's wrong with woodgate. shame. 2 super-CBs and they got injuries

Although kaboul is not as good as Kjaer (simon kjaer of Palermo. Highly rated and we supposedly were in contact with him), he's a proven prem player and been quite solid for pompey. I've only seen begovic play in the match against liverpool. quite good IMO. Young and good candidate for back-up. Especially after cudicini's accident. Dunno how he'll turn out to be

Unacceptable!!! we shud have win lastnight. Harry shud have brought Bassong instead of Jenas when replacing Bentley (eventho he have a great game IMO +Bale too)................I don't think i see any attempt on target last night but Defoe goal really class .
Still we letting off goal in injury time...lesson never learnt.

We didn't sell anyone and Levy did say that we had to sell first before buying. Kaboul was the only permanent deal, right? Eidur is loan and so are the Outs. Eidur has CL experience. Wished we had got a backup goalie though
