why digi never give free sms like hotlink - without using super sms plan. 100 free sms every month is better than nothing.
because digi rates is cheap already DiGi Fans Club & Enquiries Version 4, Always the smarter choice

just one to share some information about digi.. found this article
http://www.btimes.com.my/Current_News/BTIM...icle/index_html based on the article above (and some other article/news) i conclude that - digi is a net gainers (from MNP) - hundreds people are ported to digi per day (not thousands, as rumours) - no impact at all from new entrant (u-mobile) - added 166,000 new customers during the 3Q, comprising 126,000 new postpaid users and 40,000 prepaid users (mean more people signup digi postpaid, compare to their prepaid) - no rush in 3G launches but the CEO hope they can launches 3G in 1Q 2009 - digi aiming to get one third of broadband market share within more than 3 years (ambitious but realistic) - digi broadband targeted to "internet-starved, bandwidth-hungry", so i expect no maximum usage quota (like other operator) - digi will manage capacity "cleverly", their data services will ride on different spectrum to avoid drop call on voice network (like other operator does) - dont expect huge price war in 2009 (as digi profit margin decreasing in last 3Q financial report, price war mean they will suffer more) while other operator show a good financial performance report (increasing revenue, maintain net profit margin), digi showing quite disappointing third-quarter results. http://www.btimes.com.my/Current_News/BTIM...icle/index_html and current economic crisis might contribute to that as well, since consumers expected to spend less. plus, digi need to use more money (expected to use more than 30% of its capital expanditure) to expand and upgrading their 3g network. but, they still pay 78 sen a share to their shareholder This post has been edited by epool86: Jan 6 2009, 12:01 PM |

TAC problem might because of bank server.. but so far, the TAC never failed to be sent on my celcom number. usually Maybank TAC is faster (less than 30sec) while Cimb TAC may need to wait up to 1 minutes..

QUOTE(sharkteef @ Jan 14 2009, 03:32 PM) Several questions, why discontinued?Digi sent me an sms earlier today saying the multi party conferencing has been discontinued until further notice. i didnt even know can do that. anyone tried before? any requirements or monthly fee ? how much are the charges ? when is 3g rolling ? got unlimited package ? multi party conferencing is you can talk to more than one number each other at one time. for example you make call to the first person, then let him on hold, then you make another call to second person, then three of you can talk each other. for celcom users, only the person who initiate the conference will be charged.. |

QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Jan 17 2009, 10:14 PM) Of course the fastest and the 1st in Malaysia. Erk, I didn't reveal anything right, did I? so i guess.. this coming digi 3G offer speed up to 7.2mbps rite? *celcom said their network is ready for 7.2mbps too, but they're not rushing in launching it (perhaps learn from past experience during they launch 3.6mbps package) |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 17 2009, 11:58 PM) Not trying to condemn Celcom here but as a Celcom Broadband D98 user I am, I must say I'm not really satisfied with its broadband service. It is not stable at all, sometimes fast, sometimes slow. With the recent high increase of sign ups, I don't think it can cater so many users at one time. They should upgrade their current bandwidth for current users. Anyhow, Celcom Broadband still has large room for improvement. yup.. that is why they're no focusing on launching 7.2mbps yet.. celcom hsdpa (3.6mbps) usually can get average 700kbps to 1mbps only (in my experience), just few of my fren sometime got up to 2mbps.. and sometime up and sometime downThis post has been edited by epool86: Jan 18 2009, 12:17 AM |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 18 2009, 12:17 AM) I do get more than 1Mbps. The most is 2Mbps. That's all but consistently 700kbps and above if no network problem. yeah, i talk about consistently (average) speed.. coz i never see people are getting 2mbps at all time.. by the way, how much do u expect digi 3g package? rm50/month (basic package) perhaps? |

QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Jan 18 2009, 10:09 PM) Well I actually submitted this issue via the feedback form. i think all incoming call for celcom also didn't show +60 country code.. only incoming sms show the sender with country code..So the same applies to Celcom and UMobile ? QUOTE(latias93 @ Jan 19 2009, 12:24 AM) hey, your user bar become too wider lol.. now these forum also become distorted haha.. you should put every userbar on a new single line (or max 2 userbar per line).. |

well, maybe people think celcom is for business people because they offer 3g with widest coverage, blackberry services, celcom aslo introduce celcom powertools plan specially for business people..
no wonder celcom currently got about half milions of celcom powertools subscribers nationwide.. even, at company where i work now also choosing celcom as mobility solutions provider.. im sure those mindset (about digi low class) will be change after digi got 3g service and blackberry too..
