dadurtyz, that is true.Newer slim models come with a Pandora proof motherboard and cannot be hacked. I'd advise you to wait till the Datel's tool is released, then buy one unit. (This is because there is no confirmation yet that the datel's tool is capable of hacking newer slims and psp3000 units).

using psp 2000 here...well, don't need umd as long the psp is running on custom firmware. yes, u could get from sony style but still need to "downgrade" the psp to play games from memory stick.

That is true. But somehow rather, i still think it's all Sony's fault. Instead of challenging the scene with newer updates that fix downgraders and newer motherboards, why can't they just reduce the price of UMD's to a price that would be affordable even by us? The started it, and now, they're getting hit badly.
I wouldn't mind if developers stopped developing for the psp. I use my psp mainly for homebrew as i'm not much of a gamer myself. |

LOL.Anyways, PSP games are getting better...but from what I see, NDS > PSP in terms of quantity of good, interesting games (Marios, Zeldas, Pokemons, RPGs...). PSP > DS in terms of quality of the the console, and of some exclusive top-notch games (GoW, FF:CC, Patapon etc.)... Many people thinks DS > PSP according to sales....but I guess it's just a matter of opinion and what you want more from your console. Not satisfied? Then get both! |
