Jason: Gorgeous outdoor shooting! Hey! any passerby stop and peering at you while doing the shooting... I guess there are lots other weird stuff happening over the streets in Melbourne... it has become pretty common there... Ahhh! these seagull were naughty! I remembered, was attacked while having lunch outsdoor...

Myke:I guess this is how the upcoming BBR or Red Line 599XX looks like:

Jason: As usual your photo taking skills really bring diecast collection to next level drool.gif ... could easily fool any of us here... that M3 looks so real & perfectly matching it's surrounding...great job mate! notworthy.gif

Aurion: I agree with you... we shouldn't visit this thread so often... money was spending fast like flowing water... I've counted... Since Jan 2009 to date.. I'd splashed approx 4.2K for 1/43 models... I think it's just small amt if compare to hardcore collectors outhere...

Myke: Any new stuff to share?

Will post my new haul soon... home sweet home...

Jason: Nice tour! your M3 have taken us to many great landmarks in Melbourne in the passed few days... thank mate...!!! keep posting photos if have spare time... laugh.gif

jchue73: Aiyo! man... you really have turned yourself into model car freak! I know exactly how tempting this hobby is... sometime it takes me weeks to make up my mind just to buy one costly 1/43 model... I call it misery! you start thinking of it when you wake up... doh.gif ... like you meet your soul mate...

Anyway, that BBR 599XX is very tempting indeed... I'm waiting for RedLine version... (that could probably my last model for 2009 (excluding those pre-booked BMW race cars frm UK sweat.gif ))... In my opinion Ferrari models are worth collecting.. these are rare items...

Ok! I'm still waiting for two packages frm Overseas... probably arrive in two weeks frm now... then I guarantee to flood this thread again in August... do visit this thread regularly for latest updates, fellow collectors...

Meanwhile let me share with you guys some of my early 1:64 collections:

leroy87: Thanks for the offer. I've actually seen people converting their Elite Scuderias to GT versions using transkits. Has anybody thought about doing it? Perhaps then you would want to own more than 1 Scuderia. biggrin.gif

Wow! this thread is getting ganas mate! Every post is jaw dropping shocking.gif
Happy diecasting fellow collectors!

Myke: my collection is nothing if compare to some Tai Ko here... these BBR masterpiece is costing close to 1K a piece... wow! I can get abt 8 pcs 1/43 for 1 1/18 BBR biggrin.gif

Just watched the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GZCjEnYglM&feature=related at you tube moment ago... I saw MC12 were dominating the race.... if I'm not mistaken it has the similar engine that deploy in Ferrari Enzo.... the speed is awesome! take note, how easy it catch the Ferrari F430... after all it's two different class GT1 Vs GT2...

For the Corvette fan, I guess it was unfortunate for 2009 24 spa.. the leading vettes suffered oil leakage... thereby forced to retire after running 22HR...

Aiyoo! that bloody post Malaysia service is sucks... still yet to receive my items... can't wait to post already... meanwhile let me post my only MC12....

In fact the reason why my items are delayed is due to... I'm very choosy when hunting for models... therefore few models are either sold-out or not yet available in the market... therefore not easy to find!

Time flies.... V3 is reaching the end....

Let me post my last message here...

I would like to thank few tai ko Jason, Myke and Aurion here for making this thread so much fun and informative... and inspiring me to carry on adding new item into my collection...

Not forgetting tai ko jchue73 & Baronzemo for sharing your expensive haul....

jchue73: Sometimes BBR 1/43 scale can buy 2 BBR 1/18 scale !
-- yeap! I totally agree with you.... some very rare 1/43 BBR models e.g. Ferrari F50 GT do cost approx RM2K a piece... Well, I was totally pissed off when two forumers from the Shell Ferrari thread criticized me for showing off when I stated my total $$$ spent in my collection... Hey Ronnie & Ian90... you two should open your eye BIG! BIG! and learn from our tai ko here... grow up man! that plastic Shell Ferrari is just for beginner mate!!

Myke: I have a feeling your next car is another Le Mans car.... hmm.gif

Jason: if time allow, hope you keep spamming your Melbourne tour... thumbup.gif

Aurion: I got poisoned by your BMW cars and I'm already planning to add more BMW race cars into my collection.... sweat.gif

Saru: Come show us your F430 Scuderia before this thread closed... cry.gif

Howard Tan: If not mistaken saw your dad Red F430 last week... parked behind Balcony... Damn hot man! drool.gif

Coming soon:
