Easterian- The current int% should be at the range of 2.4-2.9%, actual interest will only be known when you are being interview by the banks.

As for the SC, I will see what I could do on my level & will do my best for the convinient of everyone.

maybe you should let the top management aware on our DISSATISFACTION!!! on the SC like to the CTO, Ms. Janice.
many potential buyer will definitely check the comments from the owner thru this forum and if there are complains and defects not attended, I'm sure this will turn your potential buyers away.

example:
those holes at the bottom of the car are not sealed, how can this be happen? shouldn't it be sealed during the assembly stage !!! and now we're waiting for the proper rubber cap that is yet to be arrived.

Let me tell my experience with my previous car; it was P.P. 2.0i. I thought I can get original part from P.SC.. During my 100,000km, I changed my water pump and those parts according to schedule. The service cost me RM2600+. After using for more than 6 months, water pump leaking. So, I went to P.SC., they said it is over due 6 months warranty period and no claim allowed. When I went to foreman outside to replace it, it was found that water pump was recon and I was charged according to original price RM850+. Problem like this, I have no way to complaint. This is a very serious problem I experienced........
People not happy with Chery SC because they cannot deliver good & quality service. Trust me, all this is temperary for new company like Chery. In Japanese company, it is called "learning curve". Every new company, new setup or new products need to have "learning curve". Chery SC is no exception; new car, new spare parts, new system, new operation, new people and everything new. I know they need " learning curve".
Let me suggest this: when we need to settle some problems for our Eastar, just list down those items and discuss with the service manager you need to rectify all this problems. Make an appointment with them with both sides understanding the problems and time need to carry out such tasks. This way will make ourselves easy, good for our car and build good repot with our SC. At the same time, happy for both sides.

I Love My Eastar Everyday!
Eastar Lovers! Cheers up Guys! rclxm9.gif

from the information I have, Chery SC had been in-operation for the past 5 years although on the different operating location, started with Chery A160 and QQ, so not so a brand new SC I would say, they should have all the experience they needed, think they need a better and more effective management to manage it....international company with "kampung" mentality...no??
and I do agree to give them more time to rectify their weakness, after all we're just human. importantly is to reflect and acknowledge the weakness and perform continous improvement not just saying but without any action....

went to the SC@PJ today since it's a day off for me. surprising they'd more than 10 mechanics working now....and it only took them 1.5 hours to clear my car. 10k service, replaced my third row seat handle and most importantly solved my long time squeaking sound @left dashboard that not been solved in my last five visits. I was speechless.... thumbup.gif also found that the third-seat handle only cost RM3.50...wow, damn cheap-la, the spare part for this car is so-so affordable.
oh, I also found that they had put greases on all the four doors and it was now so smooth and eventually solved the squeaking sound on my right door...marvellous! rclxms.gif

bad new is that the SC Manager Mr.Sunny had resigned ... well, good luck for him... smile.gif

for those who'd belting sound, it is normal as the belt had undergone some working stress, what it need to be done is to go for retightening @SC. Mine done when I did the 5k service.

Dynasan,
Good to hear that PJSC improved their service, U mention the squeaking sound at the left dashboard, i oso experience the same problem, do u know what they do for you? I just done my 1st 1k service, i didnt mention that to them, so thought that if it is a easy job, jus DIY myself.
*
Last time I complained the squeaking sound, they spend 1 whole day to solve it, dismantling the whole dash board and also opened the mud-guard (left)...then they concluded it had to do with the chasis rclxub.gif and needed more time to solve it, so decided to solve it at latter time.
Today, I did not complain for them to solve it but after collecting the car, the squeaking sound was solved, so I really do not had a clue what had they did, what I see is that they'd apply some greases on the door, maybe this had solved the squeaking sound...I'll post some photos later on the area that they'd applied the greases.

Thanks Dynasan for the info.
I remember u hv complained abt the annoying "clicking sound" from right side of the dashboard. Have they solved it for u? Is that what u mean they solved it for you? Or different case! My car started to have this "clicking noise" especially the dashboard is heated under the sun. If PJ SC can solve this problem, that will be great!
Looking forward to solve the issue.

out of my surprise, after the service...now I'd much quite ride, no more squeaking and clicking sound appear on the dashboard...it was miracle... thumbup.gif

smliu, last time my squeaking sound was on the left side, now it is solved, besides I'd sound on the right dashboard and I opened the central console (speedometer) and realigned the gap and closed it back, the sound disappear after that....you can try open up the console by opening the three screws and slide-in some rubber mat in between. (I use the antislip mat), you need to slide it far in until near the end touching the speadometer cover and close it back. Hope this help.

there are three screws (noticable) on top on the central console, loosen and open it up and you can slide in the antislip mat or double-sided tape.
sometimes the cover is not properly closed and missed the gap in between.

CNF, nicely done, mind to share the cost. I'm really interested in the sound proofing you did, can you share how you did that. Also, congratulation on your newborn and being a father. smile.gif

p/s: apologize to those ppl who'd sent me message, did not manage to check and reply...and had not driven my Chery for three weeks already...really sad.

CNF, I am interested to do also. Count me in if you guy go together!
*
Count me in as well!
Last time I'd talked to Lim and he told me that he can do the sound proofing for the whole car like the one posted in Chery site in China, cost less than 2k.
Also, I'm interested in the DVD player plus rooftop LCD including reverse camera, any one interested?, then we can negotiate with Lim for best package.
FYI, last time he quoted me around 1.9k (DVD player, Rooftop LCD, Reverse Camera, Door visors and rear light masking)
