Siapa sanggup volunteer easter dia untuk dijadikan model untuk syarikat "airmaster" buat design and develop bodykit untuk chery easter. At first i volunteer tapi bila kena tinggal kereta dalam 1 1/2 bulan kat workshop dia, tak sanggup..sayang kereta.
Anyway, those yang willing, akan dapat special price untuk full bodykit (RM1000 ++  boleh nego lagi) + cat and dapat kereta ganti untuk tempoh tersebut.
kalu sanggup call Richard 012-3333853

Guys..

For those who didn't know that we actually could set our MPV odometer back to zero...odometer on upper right portion of our MPV speedometer , below are the steps.

There is a "stick" below speedometer that show 220. When you push this stick once..it will show either time or mileage. In order to get it show zero ( 0.0 ), make sure it show mileage, else, if it show time, push once to get it show mileage. Once it show mileage, , keep push this stick for 5 seconds or less until it change to zero.. ( 0.0 ) . Now you don't need to count manually to get mileage fo 1 full tank of petrol.

In time mode..you can change the time by pressing the stick until hours portion blinking..then only you push the stick again to get the hour that you need. After set the hour..let it blinking until it change blinking to minutes portion..then only you push this stick again to get minutes that you want. next ..let it stop blinking it self.. and it is done..

I'm proud driving this MPV biggrin.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Added on March 6, 2009, 3:14 amGuys ... it's me again..

Now ...em having a problem with my aircon that flows to front passenger site. As my understanding, aircon should equal cold and same strength of air flows for both driver and front passenger right. Am i right ?

But not for my MPV.. my aircon on front passenger portion are less than driver portion on both cold and air flows. And it is always happen that on passenger portion, my wife not even feel the aircon, but only an air flow..She keep complaining on that. I tought she's kidding but it is for real, seems like there is an auto on/off aircon to her site. Anyone has encounter same problem like me ??

Guys ...any idea ?? icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

Good morning everyone!
Only adv/expansive aircon system will have left/right independent aircon control but I don't think we have it in Eastar at this price level. I checked through my car, both side are equally cold and equal air flow. And I checked thru the owner's guide, there is no mention on left/right control also. No old found.
Eastar aircon is very cold and chilling. If your wife don't feel the aircon on the left side, there must be some faulty somewhere. Check with SC is necessary.
I am trying to understand page 112 center lower portion on owner's guide: Precaution on the regulation of vent.......don't really know what does it mean. hmm.gif

Good morning Smliu,

Thanks for the feedback..i also think the same..there is no such of independent aircon control in our MPV. Will check with SC then. Does anybody else having same problem as i do ??

Salam and good afternoon everone.,

Would like to ask, is anybody has done wheel alignment for our MPV at outside shop ( other than SC ) Mine,it's alignment more to the left. .. Is the shop suggested to fix additional "adjustment screws" for both side front wheels. I have done my P2 and P brand car before and they ask me to add additional 'adjustment screws" with reason easier to do alignment next time. Anyone have done alignment before ?? Is those screw necessary?? icon_question.gif

errrr it depends on your tyres also esp ...for those who using 2nd hand tyres.....uneven tyre surface also have an impact.....smliu sure warranty void ka ????? why impact on absorbers ....care to explain ???

camber screw are for adjusting the camber position of the car either toe in or toe out ....why relates to absorber ???

Camber

Camber is the lean of the wheel. If the top of the wheel tilted away from the car, that is called positive camber. If the top of the wheel is tilted in towards the car, that is called negative camber. Camber can cause a pull to one side or the other depending on the direction of the lean. The car will pull in the direction of the wheel with the most positive camber. However, if both sides have the same amount of negative or positive camber, they will cancel each other out and the car will not pull. Camber can cause premature tire wear, but is not as hard on tires as toe is."

and our rear wheels....I think no need....since its same with my last hyundai sonata .....even the camber screw...you can buy outside .....more cheaper...if you insist to use one la.....

Added on April 6, 2009, 7:20 pmanother interesting allignment stories....

Once the fixed the adjustable unit, they won't fixed back the original. Do u know why they recommend this adjustable nut?

Aligtment Charge usually Rm 18 for Spectra.

Then sure ur camber setting will run because of adjustable nut.

They charge u extra RM 8 for one side camber adjust.

another thing, if u never watch ur tyre wear and tear and u do aligtment as usual 20000Km once, then ur tyre will worn out easily.

This problem base on my terrible experience.

U go to the shop that i recommend and pls bring ur ori nut together and ask the shop and see the his answer. But sure he will give positive answer because he is the one who solve my Unc's Spectra allignment problem. That's y i recommend u go to the shop located at Butterworth.

Do worry, it should be ok.

Don't believe to the Alignment machine that they use. All cheating.

They normally use Taiwan Made alignment machine which can be programmed by a computer. If Programmable machine, what we program, the machine will do. So Donnu maybe they program it to make money.
Believe it, its true. I face this problem many many time.

That's y i won't give my car to unknown tyre shops.

do u know how much the cost of one adjustable nut?

its just RM 8 per nut.

But the tyre shop sell to us rm 35 per nut.
