1. Entrance Fees are RM150 per team of max 7
2. err.. yes 5 players + 2 subs..

teq, yes point based, like a football league

1 win - 3 points
1 lost - 0 points

BUT! there will be 1 point awarded for a draw as well i think.
example,

Team A vs Team B

1st map - SnD Crash - Team A wins
2nd map - Bloc DOM - Draw
3rd map - Countdown TDM - Team A wins

so, team A wins the match thus gets 3 points, but as what was discussed on the day, Team B will get 1 point for drawing the 2nd map.

unless TDM gets shoved as a 1st and 2nd map, i doubt we will have draws....... mathematically draws are possible in DOM, but i honestly havent seen one.

These are info which i gathered from the meeting on friday, but should wait for either brian or josh to come confirm

Anyway, I just realized that 22nd will clash with SKOTH4. So I suggest we start in December, have that Chinese New Year break then continue on until April and we can celebrate my birthday in March midway, AWESOME!

Dont worry guys, i know finals are important, since the majority have problems with the dates, ill reconsider the start dates. (Gives me some buffer time and time for u all to register too)

yeah my finals are also around this time.. i think 2nd last week of november.. not really a prob for me as its just 1 saturday a week and 1 game for 1 hour... so dont really see the prob in playing the tourney just the preparation.. yingyang u made some good points but no offense, it was VERY hard to understand as u speak in broken english.. not flaming u but yeah.. good points.. as for me..i voted for the december start. i guess december there will be lotsa festive acitivities going on but i would say that would only happen some where during the 3rd week of december when christmas is closer. b4 that i doubt many teams wont be able to make the 1 hour a saturday game. its not a lot of time so could consider that as well.. just my 2 cents..

in the end the majority still wants it started in november and yes even though this is for the cod4 community we must trust our organizers as they are trying to make this tourney as easy as possible for us. so watever dates they decide on we shud respect and follow and not complain ya guys..

also another thing brian, another suggestion i have is why not those teams that register be allowed to play later on? like maybe something like those hu cannot play on the 15th be put in the same grp and play later on to accomodate them?? then those that CAN start on the 15th can maybe play an extra game so they dont have to come back later when the LATER group plays. i guess it would help? just another suggestion.. trying to think of ways to help out as well..

other suggestions that i can come up with is if the organizing committee really cant do anything about post poning the dates due to their own problems, why not those teams that cant make it i guess forfeit their points for those weeks? its 12 games per team during grp stage and its still chasable even if u drop 6 points.. plus it is a double elimination so even if teams dont make it thru the grp stages they still have a chance at glory. that would be a last option thing.. then randomly pull grp names out of a hat to see hu gets the forfeited points =P, like a by.. hahaha...

anyways watever u guys decide on H2o will definately support this tourney as u guys have worked so hard and also SUSU and QUACK wont be in  WOOHOO!! jump for joy.. but sadly.. still got the likes of SWL(RVG) FFF and XEF and many more elite teams that are gonna KICK my teams butts.. hehe.. peace out guys..

May I know how many teams already express interest to join the amateur league, and what teams? Just curious.

first of all i'd like to say sorry for not attending the meeting due to scrims going on and we were considering tactics and strats.

secondly
i'd say a new post with updated info and such to be up and a new poll to be taken.
based on the changes i'm sure many teams aren't on equal footing in terms of date agreement.
