why do i need eq1 for the crappy 10r?

I noticed from the post that SVS kind of not good on its own. Its kind of not justify to spend extra 3k+ just to get the correct sound from SVS.
Now I wonder should I or should I not

True true but the thing is I don't hear too much hassle from the other sub unlike this one. Plus my 1st experience leave much to be desire but I'm thinking maybe its that particular model and higher end would be ok. Now I'm not that sure anymore

Just a comment as a customer....dealer or distributor should have kept some stock in hand and not to let customers waiting for so long after putting order in. In case of SVS, people has no choice so they have to wait for it if they want it but still it's not a good business practice. Dealer/distributor should also have a proper place for auditioning and comparing various models and not asked to go to someone's else house for that purpose.

So in other words if no cash in hand....don't even bother to drop by and waste your time?

I listen to music in Pure Direct mode so sub or no sub doesn't matter. RF52 can pump out decent bass for music. In fact too much I have to move it further away from wall.
