You miss my point. I'm not asking them to educate customers. If you're into HT you will know stuffs, not only what you're selling, and make efforts to cater customer's demands. Knowing more can expand yur business. My point here, they're not really interested into HT themselves, they're strictly doing business. If their answer was "That subwoofer really keng, but sorry, we don't sell that" then I'm OK, at least they know what I'm talking about. But their answer was "SBS? Apa tu?", would that give you confidence as a customer? If you guys fine doing business like that, I don't have any objections. Just stating my experience and opinions.

So funny that I get all this after I connect the Y spliter to the sub, raise the x-over to 100Hz, reduce the Gain to 10 o'clock and sub level to -6.5db

They said the Y spliter is only waste of money but I feel the diff without have to turning up the gain and level of the sub & AVR....

Like this, me no need PC13Ultra liao....the 12+ really really loud enough for me already....

Yep, fully agree.  Actually I don't quite understand how the SVS could cost so much more in malaysia.  The tax is only 25% but SVS product cost almost 65% more in Malaysia as compare to US.  Where is the other 40% hike comes from?  By mentioning this will make me very unpopular in here.  Just too bad.

I remember i read in another forum where someone ask the question "Is SVS sun really that good?"  All i can say is "yes". I just hope this thing can be price closer to the US so more people can enjoy it.

the pc-ultra is really beefy in terms of power. like the craigsub's list, it really can punch out those numbers. initial "accidental" sweep.
wheres da eq1? gain at 10oclock. Need expert to help me in this. (result should be clipped also as the spl meter range was set to 100db)

Played with the EQ1 over the weekend and it's an impressive bass correction device. It's able to do some serious work in order to give you a flat frequency response (within limits). Here's my before and after graphs:



Note: I believe the EQ1 graphs are smoothed. In future I hope they give option for unsmoothed graph since that gives a more detailed view.

As you can see it works and yes it does provide marginally better result than MultEQ XT in the AVR. In my case I notice a slight improvement in the mid-bass.

Now the real question is: how does a flat frequency response sound like and do you like it? This is very much a personal preference but for me I've always been running a flat-ish graph due to MultEQ XT and I prefer the sound.
