Here's your solution

Previously I have this kind of motion sickness and there should be a thread about getting dizzy when playing FPS, search around.
When I play HL2, I get headache and sometimes sweating but eventually you'll get use to it, take a break, have a kitkat.

*Turning on/off the vsync, I got this from other thread, forgot which one*

Lovely game. The driving isnt boring.

Tip : go offroad

Missions wise, yeah its boring in some ways and what pissed me off is the outpost the needed to be cleared out each time i passby. Sometimes i ended up doing a hit and run, throw a few grenade on some explosive spots like vehicles or barrels or gas tanks and drive off

The AI is rather natural and funny. If you purchased a camo suit and hide in a high bush, a patrol stood in front of you and say "i think i see something"..pause... "look around, stay on high grounds" ..pause... "i think i missed him".. happened to me a couple of times.

Another scene is when you throw a nade to them, the militia will just shout "watch out! Grenade!" and instead of running far, he crouch a few feet away from the nade for "hiding"

Some precious moments eh? I have too.

Anw, for the quick respawn outpost problem. Well, just drive your Jeep and hit the one who is nearest to the vehicle and drive far away. The tip really help, do go offroad, it's fun!

they are pretty blind even without ur camo suit too. but i bought camo suit since got too many diamond n got nothing to invest. though there is once for underground base mission (suppose to clear those guard outside b4 u could go it). i sneak n snipe all guard except for 1 which i didnt know, n i cant seem to open the door. i walk around making noice (throwing grenade, shot with my rifle loud) hoping i get shot in order to get whoever is still there location but fail, n i wonder around n saw him crouchin behind a jeep n he didnt even know i was there (only on alert). i machete him to death n gain access to underground building for my malaria pill ==

Hahaha! Yeah, i do face the same problem but only at the undertaker undergound hideout. Took me 5 mins plus to "lure" him out from his hiding spot.

Anyway, more funny moments to share. Those jeep patrol is another fun thing to kill. Last night in my gameplay, i roll into one of them so i jump off my precious Jeep Wrangler to avoid it being shot and i hide behind this big tree and maneuver according to the charging jeep patrol.

The gunner got off the jeep flanking from the right so i killed him and left the driver. He was reversing and ramming onto the tree until the jeep explodes I laugh non-stop while looking how stupid he is.

Another jeep related joke, I was scouting this new outpost and accidentally shot my sniper rifle. So the militias go scattering around to find and while some jump into the jeep. Thanks to the driver of the jeep, he reversed, killed 2 mate hiding behind the jeep while killing another one who was looking for cover while accelerating. Only left is him, the jeep gunner and a sniper uphill

But my theory goes here, i realized that some militias have certain attitude. Those with vest die trying while those half naked with bandolier seem to be abit timid and love to hide till the all clear confirmation by their mate. If you listen to their conversation during on alert the best speech for me is this :

"its only one, i can do it, i can do it. Go out and kill that mf, GO GO GO"

some frens of mine said dis game not worth it....

just a huge map and nothing more to expect...
if dis d case, i'll go with Fallout 3....
to many ppls gave a bad review bout this game...
so other forums oso said it oni worth if u go online....

1) how to enable crosshair ?
2) and use what tool to measure the FPS ?

1. I remember seeing it in the options.
2. There's FarCry2 benchmark tool in the farcry folder.

Fallout 3's not exactly good either. But if you like Oblivion, then go grab it fast!!!

It's Oblivion in a post-apocalyptic setting with improved character models, slightly more character interaction and guns.

i think i saw crosshair option in option, but heck, its fun to shoot from ironsight, so i didnt bother enable crosshair.

For those who have motion sickness playing this game, try turning on the crosshair. It might help you overcome it. Unfortunately only while your character is on foot as no crosshair while driving.

vin^, did you try the Ubisoft forums? Maybe got you can get some advice there while waiting for replies here.

Tried MP for Far Cry 2 earlier yesterday. It is not worth the gameplay. Only mode that is catchy is Capture the Diamond. IMO, the SP is more engaging than the MP itself.

Far Cry 2 vs. Fallout 3, well from my view, Far Cry 2 suits those who love exploring while doing recon work against environment while Fallout 3 couldnt content most of the Fallout fans, it lacks some "ommpph". Though its humor is just as good as its previous release.

Far Cry 2 leans more towards the cinematic quality instead of engaging gameplay where the environment "interacts" with the player. Conclusion, Far Cry 2 is only worth on the story mode. If you have seizure or dizziness, do not PLAY THIS GAME. My gf got dizzy, puke, faint after just looking at me driving at the desert for a few seconds.
