QUOTE(ahnien @ Dec 24 2008, 12:54 AM) ooo... white color sets are those limited edition ones. nice I will try to get a Mini SD for my phone i'm jus using a 2gb sd card. plus the internal 1gb mem, i barely able to used up both of those. but some users reported using up to 8gb sd card for their atom life. By the way, I just read on the 1st page about the ROM for atom life. Some of them seems like very nice and attractive compare to the one which I use it now. But I found that must using the memory card in order to change the ROM is it? Can I just plugin the USB cable and transfer to my phone? |

Which ROM you guys think is the best one for Atom Life?
I'm using the default WM6.0 Abit slow and the RAM memory size quite small as well. |

QUOTE(ahnien @ Dec 25 2008, 02:28 AM) yea... those cooked roms are for sure better than the stock ones. I'm looking for better performance ROM, less laggy problem. I try to use bluetooth earphone but when I press the button to accept the call, will lag like around 2 sec then only connect to the incomming call.i'm using one. those roms i put ther on the 2nd post are allusing SD-card flasing method. while the others for ATOM EXEC uses DSUU method(usb) so... if you wanna upgrade ur rom. you can have a high capacity sd card, but make sure you have another <2gb sd card for sd card flashing lo. Added on December 25, 2008, 2:30 am ermm.... you looking for a simple one or one that enchances and beautify your UI?? the cooked roms are great(some are buggy), but still they are great. Can I use the following ROM for my Atom Life? http://www.pdaviet.net/showthread.php?t=35839 Thanks |

QUOTE(ahnien @ Dec 26 2008, 10:53 PM) nope, totally not the same. XDA atom roms is for xda atom, atom exec rom for atom exec, same goes... use apps like "SPB back up" or "sprite back up" to back up ur current rom. Just cooked the ROM as shown in following link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...143&postcount=1 Less laggy problem now. And the UI looks better Somemore there is some addition program to be use. Like flashlight those. May I know what is the function for FTouchFlo setting? Just got this new option after I cooked the ROM And how can I turn on the searching for Weather? Just now I turn it to manually search the weather then the Weather option at desktop there become blank And finally can I set the wallpaper on my atom life? Thanks for help This post has been edited by Perfume666: Dec 27 2008, 11:28 PM |

Thanks for helping me FTouchFlo make u scroll like iphone. open it, then enable it. then go to program. u scroll with ur finger on the center of the screen. u will know if ur program list is long enuf. Weather for me no problem. wallpaper u nid to set at the settings ther. Click start->settings->Today tick "use this picture as the background" if M2D available, scroll to settings, then use da Wallpaper function. Welcome to the End of Atom Life!!! what i mean was AtomLife ROM is stop developed by T2M..lolz.. QUOTE(rkwan67 @ Dec 28 2008, 02:04 AM) no la, i not mean AtomLife stop production.. i mean cooked rom would dead already. M2D = Manila 2D = HTC Touchflo 3D. it is juz a interface taken from HTC device n ported to AtomLife ROM. AtomLife newest ROM now is Build 20764 which have M2D. while M2D is taking around 6MB of RAM like tat. will be a bit laggy. but still acceptable. Added on December 28, 2008, 2:04 amhmm, BTW, ur signature didnt hav AtomLife 1?? QUOTE(ahnien @ Dec 28 2008, 04:43 AM) like rkwan mention. tat rom is not the latest. Thanks for the help. but no worries. the latest doesnt mean its the best. i've used the rom u flashed in b4. CLARIFICATION: in simple terms, cooked = modified. flash = format + install so basically, you dint cooked the rom. but you flashed in the rom. again, back to the rom u flashed in. i use it b4. nice one. simple UI but nice n no lags + a lot of free rams. the latest ones are the ones with M2D. while the one you flashed in is the one with HTC home. practically, its the same. jus the UI for M2D is nicer, more advance, with finger gesture control, etc... while HTC home is less laggy, less buggy, doesnt consume much ram. u dont really have to bother bout the FTouchFlo setting. unless you wanna use it. if you wanna customize ur HTC home, you will need to manually install the HTC home customizer. then you can turn off/on, change settings for the HTC home, change weather settings, etc..... setting wallpaper same, jus go to settings, today/themes By the way, I would like to let go my atom life, kindly check on my signature |
