ya, i think maybe can handle 4gb x4, since it can handle 4gb per slot.

well i try mixing 8gb kit and this 4gb kit(g skill ddr2 2x2gb 8000) and to my surprise it still being detected and fully utilise all 12gig of ram...
. on x48(my guess only since 12 gb can work no problem) if you plug in 8gb kit x 2 it will fully utilise it..(not sure bout others mobo but rampage formula is ok) This post has been edited by kaiser_falco: Nov 17 2008, 05:59 PM |

well i already return this ram to team breakthelimit.net,hopefully someone from team btl.net will try this 16gb combo and post the result here...
somemore it would be better if they try on p965,p35,x38 and x48 and clear all those question that been running thru our head weather your mobo support 16gb ram combo or not.. |
