i know it sound quite funny though, that my cat when i adopt him(> 12 mth), he always pee in his sandbox, now( 1 year already) since he mingle/interact with other cats in my neighbourhood, he pee all over my yard ohmy.gif by lifting his tail up...hm,i thinking that when he sees his so called friends doing it(other cats), he follows or is it a natural mature thing where all male cats when after quite sometimes they pee like that..
i heard this thing called territory where they marking something new with their own smells.. nyway,is it too late for me to neutered my cat which is 1 year old? afterwards, can he stop squirting around my yard..

thats normally what happened if your cat is not neuter. not territory, but they are spraying their male smell everywhere. a horny male or on heat male will always do this.

u need to neuter them, so they won't turn on with sex tongue.gif no sex means no spraying.

it is not too late to neuter your cat... my oldest male cat going for neuter at his age of 4 years old.

Read this = tips for stopping spraying

thanks for the tips and brief explanation..make sense though, coz last nite i was spying on my cat outside (he's in the cage) and never stop meowing..sometimes in high tone..and i spot another cat visitor..and suddenly my cat is hyper-active and cannot duduk diam wandering in the cage so as to release him..funny thing bila paws dia jolok2 kuar dari cage,as if please... laugh.gif

just wanna ask cat expert here, my cat lately is not that active i.e. running,etc..not sick, coz still have appetite to eat quite a lot..
nyway, problem lies with his front feet..i think btw his nails..and he's quite irritated when i touched that area..sometimes meow.. a mix Persian, always jalan2 a lot after i unlock the cage in the morning..so he may exposed to some nature related risks..now i plan to kurung him,buy a bigger cage, coz now cage is quite small, not much space to walk around...

My cat punye kaki dah bengkak..looks bigger than the other side..when i touch it, a growling sound can be heard.. sad though when i looked at his face, but bit of funny coz when i keep on touching it,he kinda turn his head to me,its like he want to communicate with me as if "aww, dun touch,it hurts".. want to bring him to clinic tomorrow..afraid since sunday vet closed...

just visit the vet, coz my cat ada bengkak and now ada infection kat kakinye..vet says the wound quite deep..and he gave my cat some antibiotic( toothpaste version) and iodine to clean the wound (to prevent infection) and put a cone around his head to prevent him licking his wound..but just now, i feed him and i take out his cone, coz if the cone is still attached, quite difficult for him to eat.. now when i want to attach back,he started to make some growling noise(being hurt) im quite worried if he were to lick his wound which might contains iodine ...is it dangerous??poison... cry.gif i was thinking of putting some bandages?can? or just leave it(coz my vet also didnt put bandage on it,if vet thinks necessary, vet will wrap around it,since the vet didnt,i think i might leave coz the air need to dry it)
