Can i check it at home or have to go to maxis there and check?

maxis friend told me is vvip number, they only given to ppl who register rm250 plan.. you can check it and get info from maxis counter or roadshow there..

but that need sign contract for 2 years.. and that's maxis top selling shop award only can give that number. if so easy to change? why i not get one?
