Don't worry, this is easily done -

Once you are connected to the remote machine click Start then Windows Security (it should be on the menu, right at the bottom)

Once you click on it you should see a blue screen and on the bottom right corner you should see the shutdown button. click on the arrow for more option like restart, etc.

I have dragged the Windows Security icon to the desktop for easy access.
