I can connect to remote PC using "Remote Desktop" connection in my company network domain environment, but I cannot perform restart the remote PC, because it has only 2 choices: "Logoff" or "Disconnect" and not any other selection for me to restart the remote PC. Please advise. Thank you

stephenrave has given the best answer.

Connecting the remote PC, any hotkeys will not the suitable to do restarting the remote PC when I connecting it using "Remote Desktop". all those hotkeys will trigger the current PC and not the remote PC.

Anyway, thank you for your all reply. and I have give a good rating for stephenrave. tongue.gif

I think CTRL + ALT + END is much more faster than typing "shutdown -r" lolz

Don't worry, this is easily done -

Once you are connected to the remote machine click Start then Windows Security (it should be on the menu, right at the bottom)

Once you click on it you should see a blue screen and on the bottom right corner you should see the shutdown button. click on the arrow for more option like restart, etc.

I have dragged the Windows Security icon to the desktop for easy access.

Tell me if it works for u.

I have tried and it is to confirmed that the CTRL + ALT + END is always referring to the current PC and not the remote PC. tongue.gif
My post is actually is asking about how to restart the remote PC, when this remote PC is connected via "Remote Desktop".
