Sonicboom, why would you 'mind very much' as this title ' Metal Gear Solid franchise' is always and always have been a playstation exclusive title all along. Would you want to see Gears of War or Halo3 which are one of the best selling xbox games on the Playstation 3.

We would be lucky if we get our hands on MGS4 on the xbox360, but dont expect too much, probably we would get them late, like the old xbox did on MGS2: Substance, a few years later after worldwide release on the playstation 2. And how can we fit 50gb or less say 25gb on a DVD9. We approximiately need 6-8 dvd9s to fit all the contents.

The best MGS still stays on Gamecube, not on any Playstation. But no harm done if it's release on 360, no matter how many discs there are (remember, the 28 or so GB are uncompressed). More people can enjoy a master piece (albeit a bit repetitive by now) if it's released on other platforms.

ok you got it wrong theres no way gears or halo could ever appear on ps3 because microsoft owns the rights just like sony owns the rights to killzone and godofwar.and i never understood why people have such a big problem with 5 cds for mgs4,not 6-8???you know back in the psone final fantasy came out 4 disc,never a problem

i think it is best played by those who follow the MGS series since the beginning,(PS1,PS2)...
Belive me, if you never played MGS series before, you'll never understand what the story is all about.
And yes, all game developers seeks profit, but some of them are really nerds, Hideo Kojima are one of them, if u really follow his games...
well, IMHO, its not a problem if PS3 have only timed exclusive games.at least the game content would be vary based on each consoles capabilities like GTA4..
anyway, i dont wanna argue bout sales figures or whatever, americans just love their M$ console...we cant deny on that...

PS: i just love the moment when OTACON, one of the character in this game said, "oh yeah we're using bluray, there's no need to change disk anymore"

lastly, Halo doesnt come close to match MGS series, and thier graphics looked like PS2....(played on my Previous Xbox360, sold it)

If you are not concern about the sales then why on earth are you concern about the possible port of MGS4 not selling well on 360 & most importantly -- the piracy issues on 360? You're the one started it! Fanboyism much? Just admit that all of these comment are coming out of jealousy/sour grape.

You know there are lots of 360 games going to ps3 also, but none of us seems to be concern or even care about its sales on ps3. If you are so worry maybe you should submit your CV to Sony. I think we are more concern on what games we can play on 360, not sales.

I have no problem with fanboyism discussion as long as there is no flame, but please don't try to pretend like you are talking some sense in this "discussion".

Why dun u compare MGS4 with Doom1 .....
MGS4 graphic is nice.... but the graphic still not the best one, i mean the graphic still got the Konami "flavour/taste" like, when u saw the graphic, u will know this is make by Konami, especially the graphic texture, i only can said that MGS4 have the best graphic which developed by Konami so far but not compare with other developer which using different graphic engine.
Anyway... gameplay still play the rules....

it is well known that PS3's drive can't supply data fast enuff to the system. that's why there's still loading and (gasp!) installation.

i plan to get ps3 when mgs4 come out few month back...
but after the game come out, i heard "the game too short 8 hours can finish" "better watch mgs4 movie rather than playing it" etc etc...

i also got few friend who had ps3 didnt start playing it although they bought it time long ago

...so i delay the plan 2 buy ps3......again

yes.. the game is too short... after u finish the game.. u will never touch it again... the mgs4 online?? hrm... boring... ;P

well... for one i am looking forward to play this game, when mgs4 launch i almost purchase ps3 just because of the game alone.. lol.. but after some time the hype is just gone with the wind.. lol... if it do come to xb360 well that is good since i can get it cheaper compare to ps3... still want to play it but right now verry verry looking forward to touch GOW2
