QUOTE(TommyTan @ Sep 24 2010, 04:21 PM) depends on your preferenceif you like texture, go for the grass fed Argentinian Angus tender, try the American corn fed from IOWA personal, I dont like Wagyu, too soft my fav. cut is the ribeye, med. rare. Added on September 24, 2010, 7:01 pm QUOTE(kons @ Sep 24 2010, 04:32 PM) The steaks at Las Carretas are just as good, maybe the restaurant lack the ambience , then again the pricing is twice as much. Cannot compare a casual dinning to a fine dining in a 5* hotel. The turnover is important to ensure the meats are fresh. If the meat is fresh, the chef's culinary skill is secondary. 1.5' is too difficult to grill 1" is perfect. In order to get a nice 1" thick the cut will come around 400grms.
