Hey guys!

I just format my HDD and reinstall my Windows Vista and iTunes. When i plug in my iphone, itunes ask me to erase everything and then sync with new library. I dont want to erase my mps inside my iphone, if there anywhere to skip it? or is it any better way to use itunes with 2 different PCs?

well u dont have any choice.... unless uve save all ur mp3s in ur thumbdrive or cd... just copy in ur itunes and everything settled.... this is my simple option since i always changed my itunes alot.... or other sifus can help u with another alternatives?

er.. under the iphone music tab, untick the sync music checkbox?? have u still got ur mp3s inside ur hdd?

Yes, i have my all Mp3 in D: drive. Which mean i must let itunes erase all my music in iphone first and then sync (mannually) my music to iphone again?

u can go for jakesan advise.... untick the music box sections... but if u wanted to add songs... then u have no choice but to sync n erase and then install it in ur phone again.... sorry if my terms are not tht right. me nubie so soory for my twerms

to add song
u just need to add song in the new itune library
then from the itune library, u just drag the song to the phone device
no need to sync

so no need to sync the songs? just drag huh? why i don thnik of dat? the copy n drag method?

In order to do this, we must tick the Manually manage music and video in the main page right? i used to do this before format my HDD, but now itunes want to erase all my iphone's songs even if i tick manage music and video manually. So should i let itunes erase all the songs and then add again? or there is a better solution?

the 3 options there at the iphone itune home page, u just check the bottom 1, the manual 1
then shud b fine.... but if still asking to erase all ur iphone song... u have to go options there to look more details setting that can take tat away

Maybe need to authorise yr PC again in iTunes with your email account that you used previously to sign in to iTunes store and manual music on yr iPhone. I am not sure though

next time try backing up ur playlist... if i were u, ill probably erase all the music and sync it all over again.. makes things easier in future..

nope... the drag method didnt work.... and i just upgraded my itunes to 8.01 version.... i dont knw wheather its good or not.... hahahahah.... well back to the basic ways... the copy and install back method!

why don't you try to swap ur library in ur iphone,then only u resync.means that u resync with the other empty library.after u set to manually manage then only u use ur default library.not sure can use this way or not.never tried before.

i tried already... even i tick on manually manage music and video option, itunes still not allow me to transfer songs before unless i click ok on " erase all and sync" option

i have 2 more questions here.

1. is there any way to use itunes in 2 different PCs?
2. how can i change the country base for itunes store in iphone?

use swap library lorr...u can sync wif 2 libraries in ur iphone.but the prob is,while in 1 library,u can't see the musics in the other library.sigh..

1st thing did u set ur iphone with itune to manual 1st?
only check the 3rd option at iphone device page under itune.

then u go back to ur music library in itune
drag the music to on top of "your iphone name" right under "DEVICES"
