MY legacy Xbox has reach it shelf life for Xbox games, and not getting any commercial value for it or left it collect dust. Might as way, in some ways ti can be of good used, if I can get it working with Linux (xubuntu).

Before, sourcing it from oversea reseller (HK, ebay) for the above item, it would much affordable to get these accessories locally.
I'm look for local reseller who have the above Xbox accessories, in-order for me to have PS2 keyboard/mouse connected to Xbox to install/operate Linux.

woah great idea , currently im using it as a media player , but I think Im going to ditch it as it can't play HD files.

Im also looking for the xbox component cable if u know where can I bet it .

As for USB converter , I believe I read long time ago , a DIY tutorial on how to make one.

diy it from the cotroller cable..damn im too rusted now use to mod xbox in the old days with 250gb hdd using mXBMC as os and linux as application..

the controller is actually a usb controller all you need to do is just cut the wire and join it together wif usb wire which hold the port,google it for tutorial of the wire asingnment..

Added on October 14, 2008, 8:49 amI take you proposal as the last resort, if when the manufactures discontinue the production of the above item, mean while I found a supplier in Hong Kong is giving free delivery to Malaysia (the link was posted in this topic forum). Plus I may need two or more USB adapter.

humm, how to buy from that site.. i'm needing this adapter to connect ext HDD
to watch movies and such. The DIY is easy to make, but the problem is to get
a spare controller cable is quite hard, might as well buy that usb ready cable.
