During My Vacation To Kuching...Those star effect wuz accidentally created without using any star filter, juz to share with photographer out there, try lowering ur ISO level and use BULB and high aperture to get the same effect as mine...ok.. biggrin.gif

Camera: Canon EOS 1000D
Exposure: 45 Sec
Aperture: f/22.6
Focal Length: 18mm
ISO Speed: 400

if i nt wrong..as long as ur shutter speed is long enuf..the light would appears in star shape wink.gif

Actually the only thing that matters is your aperture. The starry effect is caused by a very small aperture. Shutter speed doesn't do anything  smile.gif Light travels much much faster than 1/4000s  smile.gif

ohh...cos smaller aperture usually leads to longer shutter...dats y i was mistaken....thx for correcting biggrin.gif

walau,ur pose so "dog" ,get a smarter post 2 promote the ibook mah ..... tongue.gif

no need say 2 cent or wat, just point it n discuess.....
that's the element 2 improve right....... brows.gif  brows.gif
ur idea is gd, thumbup.gif
but 4 this shot i was try 2 make the feel like the lotus trying 2 look 4 cover under the leaf....
i also not really like the compo, lot of spacing on the left bottom......but i just like the feeling....that's the personal reason.....hihih biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif
thk ur suggestion...will try 2 shoot it next time

ehh??im nt sure of the 'dog' part..haha..don understand whistling.gif
and i don promote apple even tho i use macbookpro..lol...those who shall benefit from it had already written in their destiny.. sweat.gif

okla..get back to the topic..for the first shot i feel that the color is alil bit too bright?no?maybe is my lcd nt calibrated properly....but i do like the color from ur lens =)
2nd shot..same from me..altho i guess u r trying to bring out the flower at the bottom(guessing from ur subtitles)..but still..i guess the framing is a lil bit tight..the flower on top was cut a lil bit at the sides..perhaps try to take a step backward/zoom out a lil bit?

its good to take in comments from others..but don take the comments too seriously from noobs like me =) just my personal pref..might nt b correct tho doh.gif
